Don't tell me I wrong when I said the same damn thing everyone in this forum KNOWS to be true.
Just because it didn't work out that way for YOU does not make it not so.
Your experience is just One against a BRAZEELYUN that went the other way.

Still wrong. And i posted as to why it is wrong. You only have a 1 year warranty on the phone through LG to repair the unit. You have 30 days through MetroPCS should you have a problem and need it exchanged through them for no cost. After 30 days then you have to pay (whatever fee it is) that they want to replace the unit. When you said "you have a years warranty on the phone" you didn't specify weather or not it was a years warranty to get a free replacement and or to have it repaired.
So lets clarify. LG - You have one year to have it repaired...LG will NOT replace them as they are only the manufacturer and they do not sell the phones and or stock them. They just merely make the phone and the hardware inside of it.
MetroPCS will replace the phone if it cannot be repaired...either reflash the firmware, etc etc. But with in the FIRST 30 DAYS you can get a free replacement. After that time there is a fee associated with replacing your phone. Metro will still repair and or replace the phone with in that one year period. What fee they will charge for what phone to replace is anyones guess...especially at a time like now when the phone in question brand new is only 29 bucks...its going to cost me the same amount to get a "refurbished" phone. Right on both accords. You do have a year with both of them...but LG will repair it, NOT replace it. MetroPCS will attempt repair,..if not possible, they will replace it..at a cost.
Perhaps neither of us specifically clarified the details and specifics of the warranties offered by both manufacturer and or the carrier.
As a consumer, who is offered a warranty, like many, i assume if i have a problem i can take it back in a year, barring i didn't do anything to directly violate the terms of said warranty, and get a new phone at no cost. Perhaps i was just misunderstanding the terms of the warranty.
Either way, at this point, Motion, Premia, and Avid are all 30 dollars. Not a bad deal considering your getting a new phone for 30 bucks...I drove by my local "authorized retailer" and instead of offering the instant $120 savings to make the phone 29$ they are offering to save "$100 dollars instantly"...no big deal...i can still go to a corporate store 3 miles away and still get it for $29 bucks.
Basically the moral of all this is a few things, One make sure you fully understand the terms and conditions of your warranty. If you spend a little time to shop around and do your research you can get deals. Most importantly,
CHECK ANDROID FORUMS frequently...had i done so i would have seen that the Chinese car charger i have is what killed my phone. Had i seen that sooner i could have thrown it out. Mine was manufactured by a company called "Just Wireless"...not so sure it was chinese but its definitely not, LG, Motorola, Samsung, etc.. But i learned my lesson.
Now its off to the corporate store to get a new phone. Just not sure as to weather or not it'll be a Premia,...or a Motion i'll
NEVER charge in my car. I'll figure that out in the short 3 mile drive to the store and perhaps report back here later...
In the mean time, thank you to all of you who helped me figure out what was wrong with this phone and how it could have been prevented. Many of you help tons of people daily and don't even know it...simply because people will see the post and read the thread without ever signing up, saying thank you and or donating. Well i want to personally say thank you for all the help you have given me over the last 3-4 years. Its greatly appreciated!!
Thanks again guys!
