Root New Feature for Paranoid Android?!

Anyone see the new HALO feature for Paranoid Android? Anyone think that can be ported to PA for our phone?

Don't know but I just loaded it on my Gnex tonight for the first time (PA). It's a cool feature. I can see it being a love it or hate it kinda thing. It floats in from the side when you get an email/text/etc and when you press on it, you get a "minimized" window to interact with the notification directly. Like it'll bring up an incoming text message but it's a smaller window that overlays your current active app so if you're doing something else at the time, you can deal with the new message and then quickly return to your previous task. I'm a fan.

Just watch that.. Its much better than notifications! I'm sure you could have googled this yourself.

Back to my origional question.. Can someone rip the apk out and upload it?

Its not just an apk, its a feature that must be incorporated into your ROM. There is an app for it on the Play Store, but that's just to control it.

There is actually images, Inside the SystemUI.apk that are needed for HALO. I found this out when I made my red theme for PAC.

Yes just pin the hangouts app inside of the Halo app.

I thought the same thing at first but I'm starting to like it. Yes the task bar works but it also switches between apps when you want to interact. Halo opens up a fully functional version of the app on top of what you are doing. You don't have to use it but it nice to have options right?
