WORLD'S BIGGEST GALAXY S3 BATTERY- ZeroLemon 7000mAh Battery w/Review- add CBA result

I completely get why some folks would like a big battery, but I ended up going back to stock size. Got tired of the extra thick size of the device with the Hyperion and like using the clam shell case with built-in stand. I simply carry a charged 2100 mah battery in my wallet as a back-up.

The 6300 would be way too big since the 4000 mah got old for me. Three times the thickness of stock would be mega-chunga. That might be classed as a weapon in some territories ;)

I do the same. I bought a slim extended 3080mah battery that fits in the original backing. I keep the oem battery in the little ziplock the extended came in, and keep that in my pocket. Phone dies, (which rarely happens) I just switch batteries and I'm good to go the rest of the day. Boom!

So I started working and I can't wait to buy my 7,000 mah battery. I hope the rugged version with the belt clip is out by the time I get my first check. For a heavy user like me I am in need of this battery, I barely used it at work today and it died by the time I was heading home.

Another question. How long is the average charging time . I know the first time was 12 hours but should it be that always or does it require more time to charge ?

I let the battery die all the way.(just to try it) But I contacted ZeroLemon about discharging and I'm hoping for a reply sometime tomorrow

my quick review so far..... let it charge initially for the 12 hours, and have done 2 full cycles so far. On this last cycle I unplugged at 6am wednesday morning, and im sitting at 35% right now. Im sure I could take this well into saturday, but ill probably drain down to 2% later and recharge overnight. It takes about 10 hours to fully charge which is a bummer, but oh well. I have the screen on medium brightness, and i usually turn the data off from 7am-3pm, and its normally in power save mode. Im definitely leaning towards buying the zero lemon external charger and back up 2300 mah battery. Its a drag to be pretty much phoneless while the 7000 mah charges. Im definitely happy so far, minus the charging time.

^^ya I remember my first few charges took a long time.

But over time, it'll start to charge quicker, as I said in above post, it now takes around 4 hours from nearly empty to full give or take a little.

For the ones who have this, how is the thickness compared to the Otter Box defender case? after today, I really need to buy this battery.

Hi, I'm planning to buy this today, but first of all , does this work for Metropcs Samsung Galaxy S3?

^^This

That's the only complaint I have about this battery :p

I've seen some modify an otterbox defender to work like that, but I rather not risk messing up a $45 case just for that :p

You can get Defender cases for $30 these days. I saw bestbuy.com selling them for $30 back in late June and I got the local store to match. IIRC, Amazon sells them for around $30 too. I did return it though as I didn't like the feel of the built in screen protector and removing it seemed to defeat the purpose for me.

I hated the screen protector, so I removed it. you can install a better SP then apply the OB, a few people I know did this.

Does anyone have a side by side comparison of the zero lemon case and the OB defender?

Got this the other day but it doesnt seem to be much better than stock, im currently down to about 20 percent with 2hrs 30 screen time.

I assume it will get better once the 5 or 6 cycles have taken place?

Has anyone else been having issues with the gps using the extended battery? I can not get my gps to work at all right now.
