Actually, I think you are closer to being right, however, I think the silver 'ring' has a slight inward bevel to it, maybe a few milimeters, that offers face down protection for that outer lense cover.

I was watching the imbedded video, really couldn't see the dots, but when I went to the youtube page they were visible to me. And I'm only 31 with 20/20 vision. Maybe I should have posted the winky when I said my eyes are shot... BTW on most capacative touch screens the dots are visible... just trust me on that one... I kinda know the field...

You are totally cracking me up. I had ANOTHER dream last night about the darn phone. My boyfriend thinks I'm insane. Hey, I'm just a phone geek. I am going to be "working from home" on the 29th for sure...like you...outside, with my laptop.

The dots are there just before the video plays...but it's no big deal.

Unless you're looking for them they won't ruin the experience. IMO

I could see them, kind of a bummer about them but nothing that is gonna make me return the phone

Yes when your viewing a dark video or going through the sense interface that has a black background

I agree did that after your suggestion noticed it right away. No big deal though still getting the phone...

If you look at the 360 view of the INC. and zoom in on the lens at an angle it appears that the glass is EVER so slightly recessed into the metal frame by about a millimeter...

I have a question about exchange...

I currently have a windows mobile phone and have the 45$/month data package, cause I use exchange(for gmail) to sync my contacts, calendar, email etc.
Am I correct in assuming that I'll be fine dumping the 45$ data plan for the 30$ one with the Incredible? As far as I can assume, the functionality I'm losing on exchange access will be overridden by the fact that I was using it for gmail only, and since its an android phone, i'll have all my gmail stuff synced when I sign in with my account.

Can someone elaborate if i'm wrong, or have some info confused in some way.

verizon now has that hard silicone cases available for order (The red and black ones with spots) and I am debating whether I should order one because I don't want my phone to feel too thick. I know i will order some case...

3.7 inch OLED, Android with Sense. Im just not crazy on the style and quality. Im looking for something that has an industrial high quality feel. Im just gonna wait till its in store so I can hold it with my own hands before I make a decision
