Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

I wish Google Play were like Netflix and Amazon, as in having free movies and TV shows.

RIP and scratch one snake :D

If you're on the Sourceress ROM and didn't get the push notification, go to ROM Updates in Tools. There will you find the new Believe ROM, based on Android 4.3... along with the 4.3 Gapps, SuperSU (the ROM isn't rooted) and PRIMED04 bootloader.

It is NOT Sourcery, but a whole new beginning!

Make your backups and get your flashing hat on :D
I might move away from Sourcery for 4.3 and to a simpler ROM -I don't use a quarter of the options of the ROM and I wonder if all of those options could be slowing the device down a bit.

Only thing I really want is BLE activated - seems like people on XDA are working on it too.

I tried going to Believe....its smooth. But its missing the ad blocking ability of Sourcery and I can't stand seeing ads when I'm using the AF app and some are in my internet as well. Sourcery spoiled me.

Side load AdBlock? Or is the built in Sourcery one that much better?

Woo, first cup of coffee for the day at 11am Est, not bad.
Just got an email from my boss that I'll be working the PM shift tomorrow so I'll get that much more time to get adjusted before going back to work. :)

I tried AdBlock - didn't take the ads out of the AF tapatalk at all. Seems to have partially worked in dolphin browser. So I don't know what Sourcery team was using but I would like to find out.

I may flash again this afternoon and see how it goes using the regular TT app. :-)

Glad to have you back in the east coast time zone again!

Gah, I'm still a bit whirly after my nap!
Ha, I had a dream the other night that I killed my sour starter by leaving it here.
Took it out of the fridge a little while ago. Certainly looks sleepy and hungry but I'll get her fed in a little bit. :D
(I'm such a great daddy in the making)

But yeah, I refused to edit in CP my location so I dealt with all messed up time stamps this past week. Nice to have them correct now. :)

I enjoyed The Wolverine and Nolan Batman style that was applied. At least I felt there was a Nolan Batman style to it.

Yeah, it takes quite a bit of time to do so.
I just want to build a basic ROM for the Verizon version of the Galaxy Nexus with the BLE commits undone so I can test if it works on our phones.

Are there tutorials out there? Is it easier to build CM for example than building AOSP from the Google repository?

Thanks.

It shouldn't be any more difficult, maybe just more time consuming considering how much content is needed to compiled or downloaded. The easiest way I can think of to do this would be to create a fork of what what you're trying to use in github, remove the commits that you don't want, fix any issues that might arise because of it, then download the source and compile it. I learned from use a basic tutorial that the developer of Eclipse Rom wrote:http://www.elementalxdesigns.com/ec...Elemental-X-Compiling-Guide-Linux-Mint-14-KDE

Morning all! Hope everyone had a good weekend, glad to hear your travels were safe Bread!

My Chromecast is supposed to be here today. Pretty excited about that.

I'm kind of surprised to hear the new N7 doesn't support Google Wallet, but it's understandable, the tablet is a little unwieldy for that.

Yeah, I'm excited for my Chromecast as well. It was suppose to arrive Friday, but I called UPS and asked them to hold it since I was going to be out of town this past weekend. Going to pick it up after work today.

Perfect thanks - I might just use my Mac instead of spinning up a Linux VM unless I can get someone on XDA help me out.

Thanks - I'll take a look at this tutorial a bit later.

Not if I get there first. Are you still at 1600 Pennsylvania ave?

Well, here's the day. My friggin white Pebble should be finally arriving. :)
Mail truck is outside now, hopefully our building is delivered to before I leave for work!
