I need some help here if you can. I was running the latest cyanogen rom and it was running pretty smooth. Then I tried to change the theme without flashing clockwork!! ( duh, I forgot!!! )now I'm stuck on the moto logo!!:( I tried wiping the whole phone, factory reset, my backups , battery pull, and its still stuck on the moto logo. Any help would greatly appreciated because I REALLY cannot afford an another droid. Thanks!!:(

I got my phone to boot up now!! :) I was just getting a lil frustrated, thats all. I think the phone needed to take a lil break too!! Thanks for the help guys!! Very much appreciated..

So you have SPRecovery on your phone now? You CAN get into recovery right?

if you are using clockwork recovery then you need to do this:

reboot into recovery
go to partitions menu
format boot
format system
format data
format cache
then go back to main menu in recovery
install zip from sdcard
choose zip from sdcard
go to clockworkmod/
download/
koush.romraid.com/
motorola/
sholes/
then choose the lastest rom you downloaded from ROM Manager
then reboot and your good

***or you can format what i said up top and nandroid a backup you have***

I think he has SPRecovery based on the fact that he says he didn't flash Clockwork. I didn't understand why you wouldn't have Clockwork recovery if you were running Cyanogen...but that's how I'm reading it. I'm guessing he flashed back to SPRecovery???

And if all else fails:

.. and start over.;)

This works quite nicely.. I just used it to revert my 2nd droid back to stock-I had to warranty exchange it because the LCD backlight quit on it(not caused by rooting of course). Not much fun to do while holding a lamp close to the screen to see what I was doing- but easy enough:o

First thiing I did with my "new" Droid? Rooted it and brought back my latest Nandroid backup:p Since the above basically reverts your Droid back to "new" state, you'll have no problems:cool:

Shouldn't the thread be titled "Help!! My F**k up ?" rather than "Help!! Cyanogen F**k up ?"

I'm just sayin'

;)

Glad you're back together.
