Hey :l sadly my charging port on my motion is starting to die, have to keep it at an angle to charge :/. Has anyone else had that issue? I think its time for an upgrade.
 
Time for an upgrade.. I was in a metro store about 9mos ago and saw a guy having the same issue. If you have insurance you can get it replaced with a $39 deductible. I think it's time to get an l9 though bud!! Lol
 
Once you use the L9 daily, the motion looks like a piece of junk :o
Sadly, this is true. The resolution is so bad on the motion...and so blurry..how was I able to stand this :confused:

The motion is tolerable lol but yeah we'll see relatively soon
 
Hey awhile ago i had an optimus m the charger port was getting sloppy.
i removed the back plate and soldered a mini stereo jack to it to use for power.
i had a small hole in the backplate for the 2 wires then glued the jack to the back of the plate. the only drawback is you have to be careful when taking the backplate off to remove the battery.
this would be nice to do for the motion so when using it while charging the cord isnt hanging off the side.

Hmmm not bad but when theres the slightest bit of pressure on the cord it charges perfectly
So I've been letting the cord hang off my bed and bam charges :)
 
Do you use a case? Just fyi always gently unplug it by pulling it at the point of connection and never lay around with it on your bed while sleeping or anything similar. Always plug it in and lay the phone on a flat surface like a table or nightstand.

You don't need metros insurance. Lg has year warranty on this phone. Metros insurance is a complete ripoff. Go into the store and tell them the phone just stopped working and you want to send it back to LG for a refurbished one. I did! Only drawback is, you have to wait a week for the phone to return. And you can't buy a new until it comes. So just use a old one until it comes or buy a cheap one before you turn your broken phone in.

I do have a case yes, and yeah I do gently pull it out just in case and ok:)

Yeah I know LG has a one year but I'm not really in the mood to wait a week lol.. Time for an upgrade anyway. It'll be a year in December xD
 
You can buy the new phone you want and send the motion directly to lg.
Less than 15 bucks at fedex to box and ship
