the firmware zip inside the tiny OTA update only had boot.img and recovery.img inside, the file I'll upload at around 9am central time zone will have the correct bootloader inside so you can enjoy factory OTA updates

Got the firmware zip. Can I just rename it to PL80IMG.zip (Or some other filename)?the firmware zip inside the tiny OTA update only had boot.img and recovery.img inside, the file I'll upload at around 9am central time zone will have the correct bootloader inside so you can enjoy factory OTA updates
I'll look into downloading it. At school. They don't mind. And plus, I can just put it on a flash drive. Also, I accidentally fell asleep.![]()
ok, it's the android info text. what is your software version you are on right now?
![]()
look at your build prop or take a screen shot and upload it
Just to be clear, are we discussing the Cricket version or the Boost version? I've seen Cricket mentioned but the screenshot of russell's build.prop is the Boost version...
none of the OTA for cricket have .3
only .2 and .5
so with that zip open it up and change the the mainver once ending in .2 and try again and then changing the mainver ending with .5
Okay. I'm going to see what the latest OTA ver. is. Then when I get home in a minute I'll edit the PL80IMG.
Edit: and of course, latest OTA is. 5. How did I get. 3? ;3
