Root Unbricking/Unroot/Return to Stock LG Spirit 4G

The first time I unbricked I had to update the microsoft .net framework then it worked every time after that. I got the .net from this next link...

Download .NET for: Desktop, Server & Development | Microsoft .NET Framework

After I updated .net I reinstalled the drivers.

At the bottom of that link there are some useful links like to help you determine which .net version you have installed.

Anyways, this is what worked for me... Not sure if it will for you.

Well, thanks, I will get the .net from that, as all computers, probably the win 7 ones i was using, didn't have that.
 
i need an assist..i cant get my 4g back and the clock won't even sync with the right time...ive done the sammyz fix as always but still no 4g or correct time.

Whenever you select a different data setting in CM10 you're supposed to change it back to default before flashing another ROM or you'll be stuck without 4g :D You could just flash back to CM and change it back to default and it'll fix your data problem.
 
Since auto in CM10 only goes with cdma/evdo you'll want to select the option that doesn't have auto in it when going back to ics from cm's jb to get 4Glte back. :D

Keep trying, it could be that your kdz isnt the same size as your cab was when converting or you may need to update your drivers (both of these things have happened to me).

Which drivers? The lg drivers? I just reinstalled them. Im connected to USB 2.0 but my computer keeps making the sound as if im plugging in and unplugging the usb? All the drivers installed right. I can't re-download the CAB file because the firmware links are down :(.

How big is the KDZ you have after converting? And yes i'm talking about the lg drivers. This same thing happened to me so I installed newer lg drivers and then it worked perfectly ;)

Hm I will download them and see if it works and I will post back after the KDZ is done retrying.

The last time I did this about 4 months ago it worked. But like my phone still had the CM gallery and the keyboard was still CM. And the Status Bar slide down still said Katana. Why is that?

860????? Mine is 680 and it works perfect! I wonder where you're getting the extra 180 from? As for the other stuff like the status bar I really wouldnt want to attempt to answer that because I may be wrong with my answer, sorry.

It finally worked. But as last time. The Nova Launcher is still there. The drop down status bar says Samurai :(. How do I Completely change the phone back to stock?

Okay, So does your phone still say Katana or samurai for example?

Mine says MetroPCS, I think you could be unplugging your phone before it is completely restored but i dont know. Glad to hear you unbricked, now it's time to root your phone again :D

:( it was plugged in the whole time.
do u have a link for cab file ? so i can redownload everything? the cab file link in the forum is down.

Hey thanks man. Did you phone still have all your internal memory like contacts and notes after you did this? Or is it supposed to be totally reset?

No problem ;) Your contacts are usually backed up by your Google account. Once you restore your gmail account all or most of your contacts will be restored. As for "notes", I am going to assume you mean text messages. These will only be restored if you backed these up before the brick.

No i literally mean the notes in the notes app thing. Memo its called.
Its like nothing was deleted. All my contacts are still here ( I dont store them in gmail account)
Pictures in the internal memory are still there
Text messages are still there
Everything. The only thing is the phone still has nova launcher and the status bar on the bottom says samurai. :(.
Does everything on your phone get erased from doing this?
