Help Kit Kat for 2013 Nexus 7

There's a lot of letters between k and s that candy bar will be stale by then.

you know, I never noticed the version were in Alphabetical order until you said this..

Probably because at the time my device (phone) went from Gingerbread to ICS

I never had a tablet with honeycomb

Wonder what L is called Lollipop?

LOL, yeah, they are all named after sweets. Donut, Eclaire, FroYo (frozen yogurt) Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, JellyBean, and now Kit Kat.

Maybe I'll try that. However, my Pac-12 Now app also stopped working on KitKat.

Anyone else disappointed with the lack of certain kit-kat features on the nexus 7? I was expecting that it wouldn't have the google now integrated into the homescreens, but besides that...

no kit kat wallpapers
no kit kat notification sounds
no ability to rearrange homescreens

I'm sure all of the behind the scenes system enhancements are there, but I was hoping that some day to day useful features would be made available.

Just installed the nova launcher beta which gives some extra features.

I got the OTA a few days ago but it didn't stick. So now it's been downloaded again and waiting for me to 'touch to install'. But what can I do to make sure it installs? I'm rooted but I don't think I've messed with any of the system files. Thanks for any replies,
