So if I can't get 4g then I will be limited to 5GB a month? How far from the listed city does the 4G signal reach?? Sprint is reportedly setting up 4G signal in the city of Boston this year. I live about 50 miles away. Could I get the 4G signal this far away?? hopefully.. :/
No, as stated by Sprintfun the 5gig limit is only for tethering not surfing from the device. :)

No. That cap only applies when you are tethered or using your phone as a mobile hotspot for other devices.

You most likely wouldnt get 4G coverage. But the Evo will still be the best 3G phone you can get by far, so its not that big of a deal IMO.

All the software that is shipping with the phone is done.. Anything else new will be an update..

The phone is done boxed and awaiting shipment. nothing new can be added unless its an update..

Only rumors of course... :D

True. Just so tempting to go out and get the incredible tommorow. =)

You know I think it's time to exit.

There's alot of smoking going on here. I realize these forums are designed to get you addicted to a product and then buy it, but besides Rivers posts. This is all amatuer bull shit.

Between Disney and apple bash I'm done. I know you all could care less, but to those that do: take a real listen as to the hypsters here. Marketing at it's newest and best.

Jackson, good luck in rhode island and Disney land.

The evo is eventually going to be good, but the network I believe isn't ready yet.

Take care.

4.3 is very nice, might be a turn off for some, but with all that area, it is quite possibly the most practical and still functional screen size for a "phone". Any bigger I feel might be pushing the limits a little too far for ease of portability...

Hahaaa...well since I am the female in my relationship and am the one getting this phone, if I reverse the roles then absolutely NOT will my fiance get mine! I don't even think he'll be allowed to play with it LOL. He can get his own if he wants, but hands off MINE.:D

I showed my wife this awesome phone and told her I was going to get it. I asked her if she would like one as well. Nope, she said she would be happy with my Hero...

To bad. Her co-teacher has an iPhoney and doesn't really know how to use it. I would love to see my wife walk into their room with an EVO. LOL, oh well.

( As far as Sprint network not being ready..... the great iPhone's network AT&T is pretty horrible! When I had an iPhone with them I dropped more calls than a drunken blind no handed juggler with a fear of catching things. :) Also the data speeds...or lack there of sheesh!

ITT: Disney destroys forum relationships.

I wish I knew how to use photoshop cause I'd love to shoop a picture of Mickey holding an EVO in an insanely gleeful joy and quote his last post to it.

Mickey's browsing Android Forums on his new HTC EVO 4G!

WHO KNEW?!?!?!

3.7 inch screen is too small, who would've thought we'd see the day.
Auto, after you get the Incredible, it will be interesting to hear what you have to say about it. This video was posted a couple of days ago:

The demonstration was good, but I couldn't help but notice how small the screen is in comparison to the EVO 4G screen. When I used the Phone Arena Size Compare Visualization tool awhile back, I noticed the Incredible screen width was about the same as the Sprint HTC Hero.

With HTC Sense UI, all 7 home screens only work in portrait mode and do not rotate to landscape. I have a lot of trouble typing on my Hero for that reason and I can see the same problem with the Incredible. The screen on the Incredible is longer, which might make it better than my Hero for viewing web pages, but otherwise, it isn't good.

I can't help but think with the EVO's large screen, it will be so much more comfortable to use compared to the Incredible.

Tomorrow!

I don't think I'll have too much of an issue typing on it, it's comparative to the iPhone, and I can type like a madman on an iPhone.

But like you said, it gives you problems.

I'm just happy to have a new toy to hold me over!
