Root viper themes?

hi guys,

trying to tweak my new viper rom to look its best - ive tried various themes and status bar icons downloads etc - but struggling to get a good complete look :/ are there viper themes that apply to everything? ie status bar/navbar stock apps etc

thanks
dan

There are things on the Venum Hub, but there are usually theme developers who will completely overhaul a rom with a new theme. These aren't necessarily posted up on the hub as Brian has shown above.

Sometimes they post up themes in the Rom thread and the Rom developers add it to the OP. Other times they place the theme in a new thread in the theme section.

Follow that link Brian gave yo, then check out the sub forum for themes where that is posted up. There may be more you could check out, but just in a different thread. :)

cool - thanks Granite

i flashed the darkone theme, and the phone app broke! .... had to dirty flash to fix as instructed - wasnt expecting to flash ... but hey :D
..but it turned my nice black message app white :( .... so then flashed Basil's dark viper - so i now have a mixture of 2 full themes and 2 different status bar themes on top! :D .... but i finally like the result

cheers

Here is an example where the trusty nandroid backup just prior to flashing a mod is a clutch move. If stuff gets borked, restore nandroid and keep on rockin.

There is also the option to re-install the rom itself without wiping the /Data partition, IE: Dirty Flash. This does not always work as you've seen first hand, but sometimes it does. :)

Make nandroids a habit, or you'll lose stuff you don't want to lose eventually. ;)

thanks Granite - yeah good point - still new to the flashed theme gig - im solid with making nandroids before rom flashes - just forget with the themes :/ :D
cheers

QFT!

A Nandroid, every other day for my daily driver ROM,has become part of my routine.
I remember most of the tweaks/settings that I make for initial set-up & those that I make on-the-fly,but,it's not a perfect world & the Nandroid makes it sooooooo easy to get right back in the saddle in a worse-case scenario.
