No, please don't take away the generic browser. I may be the only one who uses it. It's basic and gets the job done, chrome is bloated and doesn't offer "full" full screen. Other than that, I like the idea of keeping it AOSP/Google as possible. GELS Launcher or whatever Google's launcher is on the Play Store. Generic boot animation preferably, too.
This CM browser is fine, I thought it was stock already. I think I may use this as my daily driver until everything gets patched up on CM11. Just a request, but can you prioritize adding LTE into next release, please? If it's not possible, I understand.
I agree, keeping it AOSP/Google as much as possible is a great way to please the larger audience. The more you add, the more people will complain about having it removed. At least with stock, you won't receive too many complaints. Unless of course you want to add something, that's entirely up to you, it's your work. @hroark

The geniuses from Google have decided to limit app access to the microSD card.
As a result, some apps won't work at all.
SD Fix (free app) takes care of this.

Well the reason why i think AOSP is better is that AOSP is lighter and faster, the UI skin from LG lags alot in the phone so keeping it AOSP would free ram and storage

I could've sworn my phone had that button style settings menu when I first bought it....but, wouldn't that mean it had Kit Kat?

There isn't rely alot of bugs, just data and the wallpaper error but this ROM is pretty stable if you don't mind those.... I didn't find any other problem apart from that.Can't wait till all the bugs are fixed

I used SD fix but move to SD is unavailable when you look at downloaded apps
So my question is how do you use this?

I haven't tried Move2SD, don't have to, have about 50 apps installed and no insufficient memory message.
Without SD Fix Sygic, for instance, does not work when Sygic files are on the external SD. After SD Fix Sygic works just fine.

We already have 2 KK AOSP threads.
AOSP will not support all the hardware.
If I missed something here, my apologies.

I do think that ES File Manager is superior to any other Android file managers available, maybe it is worth integrating.
Nothing crucial though, I can always download and install it from the Play store.

The camera included in cm11 is only 3mp because it takes widescreen pictures. Widescreen does not use the camera's full capability. It's kind of like watching a widescreen movie on an old tv set that isn't widescreen and you get the black bars on top and bottom. I installed google camera from the play store(the same camera app included in this rom) and it took 4.9mp photos.
Also lte is working on this rom. Instead of saying 4gLte like the stock rom it just says 4G. When on hspa+(this is when the icon says 4G on stock rom) it says H. I know this because im getting download speeds of more than 2,000kB/s when the icon says 4G. Download speeds like this are only possible on 4gLte in my area. When im on hspa+(this is what metro calls "4G") i never get download speeds faster than 50kB/s.
You got it wrong mate, I'm saying that he could replace all LG apps with AOSP apps and AOSP LOCKSCREEN because its lighter and faster than LG skin, he asked for ideas for this rom

Maybe you could post a version that hasn't been debloated at all, along with a zip file containing all the apps you changed in the most recent version.
This would allow users to decide which apps they want to use and which ones to remove. Im assuming most people flashing this rom already know how to use apps like titanium backup to remove system apps.

ok, got, like I said, apologies for my misunderstanding.
I do tend to believe it is the most exciting development for F6.
While CM11 and AOSP might be lighter and faster by a bit, they do NOT support all the amazing hardware LG had bothered to put into this phone.
One more thing: G3 QRemote, is it possible?
