Root [MetroPCS] [ROM] KitKat 4.4.2 NEW BETA 4

Everyone appears to have no problems with beta 5 but I guess I am an idiot because I can't get it to run for more than a few minutes without getting a blue screen o' death and/or or a black screen that pops up a very tiny message about "HW reset has been detected". At that point the phone is useless. Pulling the battery allows the phone to reboot normally but at some random point during use, it does the same blue screen/black screen.
I have wiped/factory reset and I have had the same results 3 separate times after restoring my stock backup.

This ROM Is Rock Solid. If your having Problems Wipe Your phone completely and reinstall and do the set-up again. You may have your own preferences but you have the option to customize it as you wish. This is one of My favorite custom Roms that I run on The Lg F6. Thank you Hroark13! You've done a GREAT job on this one and I wasn't a big fan of KIT KAT anyway, So thanks So Much again. :smokingsomb:

FYI; Just load beta 5, no gapps and setup apns and load the posted build.prop and your done.

Make sure after you followed the steps and update prebuilt gms core apk from playstore!!!! Good Luck and let me know if it worked for your other google apps!!!

mm i didnt have a prebuild gmscore. apk before, only gsmcore? do i rename it to gmscore.apk?
i copied the prebuild gms core apk onto my priv data folder,and there wassnt any stock prebuild core apk._. i set full permissions and then deleted the folder on /data/data, rebooted into twrp and wiped dalvik and cache.

Is everything confirmed working? Data,wallpapers, bluetooth, wifi, youtube. Is there a change log or someone who knows? It would be greatly appreciated.
worked different for me, ihad todelete gmscore apkand odex, then click to install the prebuildgmscore ap,after that i deleted the folder ad cleared cache and dalvik on recovery, rebooted and i didnt need to upate the gms. it worked straight from reboot.
odd but it still fixed youtube and hangout apps

oddly,the "ok google" feature doesnt workstill, no matter how muchi shout ok google it wont pick my voice
Rolgar20 that weird on how ok google doesn't pickup your voice!!! Does the app itself work by typing? Does other voice activated apps work? Check your lib files make sure you have libgoogle_hotword jin.so,
libgoogle_recognizer_jin_l.so!!! Try uninstalling fully ok google and cleaning data_data,delvik and cache,reboot. And Reinstall!! Let me know!!!

When i click on the microphone and talk it does recognize it, but going to setting, voice and tryint tk activate the ok google comand in any screen it gives you a test to personalize your voice by shputing ok google 3 times, i try to do it but wont pick up my voice. And yes ive tried re installing the app

they have to be official from lg or google for me to use em i dont like having third party apps for google now when there is a oficial app from google but there again google now is just gimmik for me right now c: ill live with itHey Rolgar20 I installed Velvet.apk, went to play store updated it, went to system voice settings setup it up, went gsm app setting it up, went ok google set it up did 3 time ok google and tested it out and works for me but I have newest gms.apk update and Velvet.apk also!!! Rolgar try again put new GmsCore.apk in privt app folder and redo steps again try updating. Or turn on youtube see if it tries to update GmsCore.apk. Let me know!!!
So, I have managed to avoid the blue death screens but am now having problems replacing the build.prop? I have tried copying and replacing build prop, editing the build prop, copying the text to the build prop and saving...but everything I try results in a boot loop.
I'm getting a little frustrated.
EDIT: I am an idiot...forgot to change the permissions. All is good now. YAY!

Use eclipse and import your changes to an existing theme.
I started with a kit kat theme for lg home and modded it.
There is instructions on xda to start from scratch but you"ll need a lot
of large software packages to do so.

The status bar on mine is tranparent already, and the notifycation bar is still frosted.
I don't think changing the pull down one is worth it since some menus txt will be affected.
i dont mean the notification drawer, i mean the grey status bar when you open apps, i want it to be changed to black but xposed gravity box doesnt work with this rom :C
