I stopped distributing my app in your country.

HERE let me know when you got it so I can remove the link since I prefer it be downloaded from the play store.

EDIT:
Link removed, hope you got it.

And here's the play store link Recovery Reboot

Trevor,

OK found the towelroot.com site, clicked the icon and save file to my desktop. Now what, no way to transfer to the phone since:

  1. LG does not come up at all under Linux,
  2. LG does not read my SD card at all in the phone, so can not load to SD card externally and then reinsert into the phone and run,
  3. When attempting to bring up towelroot in phone there is no "download" button, so clicking the icon, only give file contents and LG has no "save" option from the browser.
Any other suggestions on how to do this?

Cheers!

Mine showed up on the drop down screen. Shows it downloading. And if you check the download folder it may already be there.

All,

OK finally got the file system to register in Linux, but gave over 12 false and empty devise folders before settling down, so copied the tr.apk from desktop to SD card.

Was finally able to see the SD card, but LG shows 2 SD cards, but one is not real. Not sure if it is a symlink or not.

LG does not use a normal .droid filesystem, not sure what they use so that is the reason you can not see much and why the bogus fileshares show up under the devices, as this filesystem being used is totally unstable.

Then changed setting so "non-playstore apps" can install, and installed the tr.apk. Was finally able to get SuperSU to work, but going to the "Apps Manager" still have absolutely no control of moving apps and storage to the SD card. Wondering how to accomplish this now that I'm rooted? I guessing there are some "favorite" apps for this. Let me know!

LG F6 only has 2G of native RAM, and I'm showing 1.81 GB used, so only a few MB available until I can move all this crap from the phone to the SD card.

Cheers!

Hello everyone, I was able to root my LG Optimus using the one click app. I verified this using "Root Checker Basic". I would like to move downloaded apps to my SD Card. Can you anyone help? I can't seem to figure it out. Thank you again. Saul

Trevor, I towelrooted. But now I cannot get into my f6. It says there is no os installed. And it says it cannot mount data. I have tried to reinstall the factory rom and kdz, but the kdz keeps not responsponding. Is this "bricked"? And can I fix it?

It says no os is installed where exactly?

So before rooting my phone with towelroot, I went from 12b to 10i. After rooting in 10i, I can't seem to be able to update back into 12b by temporarily unrooting. Is there a way I can get back to 12b?

I did this and it works fast and easily. But now I installed root checker, and it's saying that my device is not rooted. I also can't access my system folders from file manager.
I did it again, but after I checked it, it's not rooted again.
What should I do ?

Edit: I disabled the supersu myself and I forgot. I enabled it and it's working.
I just don't know why SU binary doesn't update. It's saying it's failed.

I am new here and have a problem - Can access my apps. Every thing was fine after rooting then phone froze and now have no access to apps

A little nervous, this is my first attempt. I just installed towelroot, but not sure which version it is. V3 is the recommendation for 12B. How can I tell if this is V3 or should I just go for it?

Anyone mind sharing the recovery thats posted in the OP? i keep getting an error when i click the link to go to the page.
Try now, i hope i made it easier

Edit: it seems that the new website design might have removed the download links to his apk
Edit: All working like it should

So I'm new to this....I rooted my HP Touchpad to run KitKat, but that had a very good step-by-step guide. I've followed these steps, and root checker confirms root access, but I cannot boot into recovery. I've tried GameTheory's recovery reboot as well as clockwork mod's and I just come back to my same old start screen. Any pointers?
