Yup...and we just went through an Audit...NOT Fun [emoji16]Do you work for a gov't contractor or something?
No wonder the Federal Gov't has so much trouble getting anything done quickly.
Ouch...[emoji33]"Quickly"? I don't think that word is in their vocabulary. At my job we deal with the EPA & nothing is quick!

Dude...no problem...[emoji106]PattiCakeUS, and all concerned:
Please accept my apologies for my rant re marriage, et al - I made the post answering a post about marriage, and the declining sex that was made earlier.
I posted what I did based upon my life, and my life was pretty screwed up for a long time; plus, it was the day before my birthday, and I was running late to an appointment with my therapist (my fiancée was running late, as she had a meeting to attend).
I meant to offend no one - and, if I did - once again, accept my sincere apologies. At 2:09 AM, I will officially turn 53 years old.
Yesterday was a bad day for me... I hope that everyone understands, and forgives me for such a negative post.
Your friend in rants, LW
Absolutely! The rant thread is for ranting, LOveWerks. We're cool![]()
I wasn't offended, I just have a very different take on that scenario & decided I wasn't going to muck things up by sharing it.PattiCakeUS, and all concerned:
I was in my 30th year when I married, and became a father to two children.I think marriage should be illegal until the age of 35...I have good reason for thinking this. First you need to establish yourself as individuals, both professionally and personally. How many marriages have ended because of career pressure or because someone else felt shorted because they stayed home while the other finished school and established their career path. I know people get married in their 20s and make it but in my opinion we haven't established ourselves as individuals and certainly can't function in a collective dynamic. Secondly people need to date & do all the deviant activities they need to so when they get married there isn't so much curiosity. (The need to cheat the first and second are related I think.)
Again just the opinion of a 40 year old that's been divorced and widowed.

Turns out I drove through a tornado cell last night as confirmed on the news today.

+1!!Wow Clementine, you've REALLY had a rough day today!!
I hope tomorrow is TONS better!!![]()
