No, it's not. On my own tests, it seemed to work more like the home key. Of course it's really supposed to be the menu key.

Works for sure, but camera and wifi aint working am stuck with a phone that doesnt have a working camera and wifi, which sucks, but the phone it self is working fine!

Tried to flash it back to stock rom, wont work cause it gets till 9%. Then the phone just reboots and the progress wont continue.

This is solved. I updated the firmware, but now recovery doesn't found the SD card..

Restore from backup or use LG Flash Tool.

Remember to go into download mode first
Heres help, just because i couldnt find it at first my self.

1. So, press power button and select “power off”.
2. Then, press the volume up button on your LG L40.
3. While you are holding the volume up button, plug in your phone’s USB cable.
4. Keep pressing the Volume up button until the download mode is being displayed.
