Root root cricket zte grand x max

Its starting to look like the "enable OEM unlock" option in the developer options might just be something that is part of stock android lollipop that zte was just too lazy to remove. Idk. When we tried to reboot into the bootloader it just did a normal reboot.
Edit: I'm contacting ZTE right now to see if anyone there can tell me what the heck this option does if it does anything but I'm not getting my hopes up. The support people usually don't know anything and depend on a book or computer program to give them the answers that they then read back to you.

Haha this is the response I got from zte. Like I figured... Didn't even get a response from a live human being...

Are you using the last zip masterchief87 posted or before because I'm using the one that didn't had the modem update I had to use other zip to update that

Yes I made a zip with the xposed apk the you need to install them the xposed zip that you need to flash. when you download it just unzip the file but the other two that are in side don't unzip the last thing in the is the xposed uninstaller if you run into trouble. I did a nandroid before I zip the file.
 
Let me know if it works for you I dint had a problem it boot up right away but just in case a made an nandroid because you never know
 
That's the same one that's failed previously for me. I get the following:

gzip: short write
e: Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard1/xposed-v71-sdk22-arm-by-rom-racer-20150816.zip'

Why does it work for you and fail for me?? What are you doing differently??

Not sure I just downloaded that files made a nandroid turn on the phone install the apk didn't open it turn off phone turn it on in recovery install the zip then boot phone and it was install and activewhen I open xposed app that was on the first try

Are you installing the apk first

That was after I install. My apps but I did a clean install I did back up anything I just updated using the zip the went to play store to re download everything after that that's when i downloaded the the files and install the apk before flashing xposed zip

You did a backup of your data and app then after updating to lollipop install those back ups back maybe that's what we did differently because I didn't do a back up just the nandroid in kitkat in case I wanted to go back and the nandroid in lollipop before flashing the xposed zip
 
You could try and re install lollipop but after that starting over like downloading everything with out backups
