Hey, I really didn't realize just how ugly it was until I compared it to the newer Samsung phones. I liked the 5c and so I'd switched to iPhone for the last 4 iterations. Apparently Samsung got really amazing in screen quality since the Note 3.

Which I still use my Note 3 as a media player but the screen quality on that is still not as breathtaking as this S6 Edge screen.

True story: I was on hold, sitting at a bar, waiting for a margarita. Someone asked about something. I thought to look it up on my droid, so I tapped my left front pocket, where it lives when I'm having a margarita at the bar.... gone! I checked my other pockets, craned over to check the floor when someone asked what the hell I was doing. I said I was looking for my phone and for some reason, everyone at the bar started laughing.

Thank you, random stranger who knocked on my door and offered to buy my crappy trailer... I kind of despaired that I'd never be able to sell it.

There wasn't a for sale sign on it, but considering the shape it was in, and the fact that I like to be honest and tell potential buyers the truth of what they are purchasing...

'File Under...Face Palm Moment'

My friend told me this tonight...

She is in her mid-30's...and she said last week, she went to a Nite Club with a younger friend of hers. The bar tender asked for her younger friend's ID, and she pulled out her too ID. She noticed that the bartender looked at her younger friend's ID but not her ID. She said that she felt a bit offended, at first. However, the bartender said to her "Thanks for showing me your ID, but it wasn't necessary, since you only ordered a Diet Coke.

I think the Portal to Hell has finally been closed! It only took about 5 work orders & over a year, but one of the maintenance guys finally thought to replace the thermostat. It's nice to come home in the winter to an apartment that's NOT 80 degrees, for a change :D

On a similar note, I think it's one of modern life's mysteries why we cannot get the air conditioning system to work correctly in any office block.

Just the holiday I really need, thank you Daily Mail.

It seems to be fashionable these days, for young men to walk around looking like this. Are you getting the same trend in the US?
Personally I think adding any facial hair to a man ages him. I'd rather keep my youthful clean shaven looks :p

Yeah... it's pretty ugly, in my opinion. Though I did sport a van dyke for a while, myself, I was never a full beard kind of person-- it's more work than shaving every day, and it itches like crazy at a certain point of growth that I never could get past.

The Vulcan never had a really bushy beard. He shaved it off for surgery, and the kid and I would keep telling him to grow it back. He still has it. Guess he doesn't want the comments.

I have an undecided beard; a seven day shadow, a neatly trimmed one sixteenth of an inch. Some ask if I'm growing a beard. I either say no or I already did. Been that way for years...

I don't like bushy beards on men, I'm a fan of either a clean shaven face, or a light scruff like this.

Thankfully, I haven't seen many men like the big beard in that earlier picture.

Well, for about 5 years, I had had a mustache. The original reason I grew it out was, I have always had a young looking face, and I wanted to appear more mature.

A little over a year ago, I was dating a woman who asked me to shave off my mustache. I did, and I realized that I look much younger, and being in my late 30's, I wanted to look younger, so I have never grown it back.

I'm falling into the pit of despair for aging men – the receding hairline. It feels like a cruel joke from my creator. I still have hair on top, but less every month. And to rub it in, my creator made sure that the sides keep growing just like it did when I was a teenager. This time next year, I think I'll have a reverse mohawk haircut.
