Root [Modification] LG G3 Splitview For LG Volt

Well an easier way is to leave on or turn on button vibration feedbck in settings,then go back to home screen and press the back button until the feedback stops. Trust it. It will open splitview.
 
Well I cant get it to work.....All I am getting is an error..."Unfortunately Dual Windows has Stopped...Ok"
this error keeps popping up and doesnt dissapear after hitting "ok"

Takes some doing but need to reboot phone each time.........If this is an app cant find it anywhere to delete it.
How can this be deleted from system?

Working here... The app is in priv-app... there's some other files to, look in the zip for their locations.

Thank you....found apk and deleted it..hope that solves problem.....wondering if there are similar apps available that may work
 
People Be aware what apk you add in your phone,somes could be malicious like this one will not working on your stock root rom nor you lollipop rom..that's being said as it will do nthing but soft brick your device

Thats pretty strong words.
Its not malicious. You need to back your words up and not throw wild accusations.
That being said...

Did you follow the directions?
If not, what steps did you do?

I've done this mod numerous times in the past few days with stock, modded, odexed and deodexed ROMs. All without any issues. So...

EDIT
You could also be nice and respectful, state your issue and see if it can be resolved.

BTW, we are here all as volunteers. Nobody gets paid. Just something to think about.

This does work on stock rom. Its not promisedvto work on roms other than stock. Its been said before that if you attempt to install this on an odexed stock rom thsat you should remove any accompanying odex files related to those in the zip package I uploaded in rom thread. Its not malicious software. This was wont cause a bootloop unless you change something you shouldnt or do in fact install it on a stock odexed rom without removing odex files properly.
 
The splitview mod will work with the zv6 also but the zv6 build.prop will need a few lines added to it. Nothing major.

Im not done. I'm still having fun lol. I removed a line from above pertaining to the app base set i did not intend on being on the roms yet. Right now its spcbase vs openbase. Testing some stuff regarding what apps run under different environments to see if we can enable more.
 
I used to fool around back in the EVO days on XDA. Been on here since I got LS740. I haven't had too many issues other than SD card issues. I'm a lot happier with this phone since running your ROM. I'm gonna try the mod with build.prop edit
 
Hey Curtis, big fan here. Luckily I saved the op's files a long time ago when you first posted, and deodexed the apps on my phone (and as far as I know, properly) . However I have a text now version of The Volt which basically means I have to use stock or it tries to commit cellphone suicide and never work again. However after flashing the necessary zip package I still cannot get the modification to work. Any ideas? It could be due to the changes that text now does to the phone itself to make it work with their service (though I would really call it more of a "dis-service" based upon the quality I experienced)...

You dont have to use Stock. Go get latest CM12.1 and download my apn fix and everything will work. I own the LG Volt Textnow variant (:
