Oklahoma, EPA shutter 32 wells in new earthquake-prone area
A 5.8-magnitude earthquake and a series of smaller aftershocks in Oklahoma led to the discovery of a new fault line and stoked fears among some scientists about activity along other unknown faults that could be triggered by oil and gas wastewater that's being injected deep underground.
State and federal regulators on Monday said 32 disposal wells in northeastern Oklahoma must shut down because they are too near the newly discovered fault line that produced the state's strongest earthquake on record on Sept. 3.

That's just Lucifer Jobs being petty.
So, I had to use some old data for a test I'm doing at work. Dug around and found what I needed, only to discover it was created by a co-worker who was killed when the towers fell on 9/11. Damn it.

Looks like just the chassis, motherboard and power supply for a Dell workstation.
For $200. It doesn't even have a CPU. I am not seeing the value. Especially when there are full functioning boxes with i7-3770 processors and SSD's going for that much. Must be one hell of a Mobo!

I'm full of random thoughts this morning. Well not so random, more ongoing, in that school continues to disappoint in a lot of ways. Home ed is looking increasingly more attractive for our younger daughter. My wife helps out in the class, and sees first hand what goes on.
I absolutely think that we send our children to school too early in their lives anyway. But, then you also have the situation where both parents must work, and part of the school's role is to be a daytime babysitter.

Indian summer? It's currently 31C here, no sign of leaves falling yet. However it is a public holiday.

These past couple of days have been the hottest ever measured here. 31C indeed. Ridiculously warm. And now the weekend is starting we're back to a comfortable 21C.
