That's the day before Unix epoch...1-1-1970. So my GUESS is that you have an issue within your current file structure that relates to time output. However, I have no idea where to look.

By any chance have you recently downloaded any apps who's primary purpose has to do with time or date management? Calendar app for example. Or anything else you can think of that would coincide with this problem.

I have been getting a serious "rash" of these 12/31/1969 emails from many different companies since fall of 2018.
I attribute this to morons who claim they know how to program computers, but in reality can't even program a VCR or Smart Watch.

Are they spam, by any chance? I see that occasionally, and it's always spam, not from a legitimate company.
well from what i know that date like it was mentioned earlier is the date unix was released. they use that date to emphasize an error in reading the date time stamp.

Quite frankly in 1970 I don't think that too many were aware of it at all. Only the peeps at Bell Labs probably.

No, it's basically just a nerdy way of saying that's when UNIX started keeping time. On UNIX systems (which include Linux and, therefore, Android), timekeeping has been measured in seconds(?) since the epoch.(I'm a bit rusty on UNIX history right now; someone else may offer a better explanation.)

Yes, I am getting them on my phone, but they don't show up on my AOL email when I log in on my pc.
They are all from companies I have accounts with, mainly restaurants and online order companies.
