To easy to change resolution size with any imagining software, aka photochop.
IF I were to make the claim this guy has the First photo would be of the 2.2 in system tools along with the baseband etc etc, then WiFi tethering then the other stuff.

I agree, looks fake. How hard would it have been to take a pic of the Droid with 2.2 on it? I can show a picture of Optimus Prime sans background, it doesn't prove he was in my living room...

These are real. They were released by P3Droid. Check the thread there:

P3Droid makes top notch kernels, is a great ROM developer, and was the first to backport the 2.0 rotary lockscreen to 2.1. I don't see any reason to not trust these screenshots.
