Thanks! Love the meme. :D

I used to have a co-worker whose birthday was *on* Christmas! Can you imagine? She felt slighted her entire life. :(

My birthday is in November, and there were some years that the two were combined for a “big” gift (like a bicycle).

On a personal note, I used to really love the fall. I grew up in Phoenix, and although school started again, the temperatures were cooler and there was Halloween, my birthday shortly after, then Thanksgiving and, of course, Christmas. But in 1997 my uncle, who was much like a father to me, fell I’ll and died in early November, and seven years ago my mom was in an accident in late September and passed on October 1st.
Those two combined to pretty much suck the joy out of the fall.

Sorry to be maudlin! Enjoy YOUR special day!

That would be nice! A big 'double' present! :D

My daughter's birthday is on April Fool's Day, but that's not a gift-giving day so it never impacted her one way or the other.

That's really sad. I'm sorry. I totally get how that changed your feelings about the season.

I wasn't going to say it here, but... My birthday hasn't been the same since that dreadful one in 1980 when my childhood idol, John Lennon, was murdered. :( You'd think, with the passage of time and everything, that the sad, negative feelings would go away, but they're still here. *shrug*

Enjoy YOUR special day!
Thank you! This thread really boosted my spirits. I love my AF family! :D
