Well, my Michigan Wolverines beat Ohio State!!!

Years ago, I worked around a guy that was the most avid fan of the Notre Dame football team.
I've known devout fans of this team or that but nobody that comes close to his passion for his team. He lived and breathed their season and his life hung on the results of each game. I'll be rooting for the fighting Irish tonight just to honor his memory.

Given Indiana's strength of schedule they shouldn't even be in the college playoffs, nor should Penn State. I hope they make some changes to this format sooner than later.

Indiana showing they had no business being in the playoff. This literally looks like a high school game.

Notre Dame seems to be in control of this game.
And they look like they are hardly even trying. This is a very disappointing start to the new playoff format, but I'm in no way surprised. You can play cupcakes all season and expect to be competitive when it really counts.

The second half of last nights NCAA football semifinal is on tonight with the winner seeing Notre Dame in the national championship. Ohio State will be playing Texas in the Cotton Bowl tonight and can be seen on ESPN. I hope the game is as fun to watch as last nights game.

The 2025 College Football Playoff National Championship Game will between Ohio State and Notre Dame will be played tomorrow night the 20th. It will be aired on ESPN at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Current odds have Ohio State favored by 8.5

It looks like Ohio State is going to cover the 8.5 spread without any trouble. I'll still be rooting for my old buddy's team ND but I'm not having much faith in a comeback victory.

It's over now, especially after this ridiculous fake punt call. Just run it up the gut with the QB if you're going for it.

The Notre Dame QB's body language tells you everything. He looks completely defeated on the sidelines. It's like that first drive of the game completely wiped him out.

^^^ I said all that to hopefully jinx it 😒 ND showing signs of life now.

Hey.... a ND TD and a 2 pt conversion... all they need is three scores for a W :)
No. What they need is Rudy

Crazy how just weeks ago Ryan Day was getting death threats after losing to Michigan and today he's a national champion. If I'm him I immediately quit, take a year off and coach somewhere else after that. He could go wherever he wants and get paid big money. Ohio St fans are completely ridiculous and don't deserve him.

I've been watching some of the football games. They would be far more entertaining to me if I followed college football. There are a couple of things that I have enjoyed about the NCAA games. I enjoy the team spirit and a deep desire to win. The emotion of the fans tells a story that enriches the viewing experience. I especially enjoy the lack of acting an arrogant idiots after a good play that is so prevalent in the NFL. It's fun watching the young talent play the game. I don't know the criteria that determines the bracketing of the big bowl games. The quarterfinals games were pretty one sided except last night's game with Ole Miss edging out Georgia. I think the Semifinals will be some fun games to watch next week.
