So going from one UHP AS to another, that's ok should be similar ride/performance. Rather aggressive tire for a Civic but why not I've done similar things.

She's a teenager, so if she drives anything like I did when I was her age, which she does, these are perfect
I remember my first set of Pirelli tires like it was yesterday. I put some P6000's on my 1986 Honda Accord LX--i in high school, those bad boys lasted forever & I was pretty hard on 'em. The P6000's now are nothing like they were back then. Since then I've been hooked.
I hate when I buy a new car and I have to deal with the original equipment tires, which when it comes to Honda's it usually means Michelin or Goodyear.

Once you get used to it you will never go back to a regular one.
I am spoiled with mine, just can not imagine sitting on the couch and not being able to push the button to make it recline or tilt the head rest! The only thing is the leather is cold when the weather is cold, and no I am not leaving the heater on at night to keep the leather warm .... lol

I broke down and ordered a bicycle work stand. I've been wanting one and needing one for quite some time. This should make a lot of maintenance chores easier.

That looks great. I wish I had the room for one. Most often I make do with ratchet straps hanging from the garage door opener mounting straps. I have roped my bike, hanging it from the inside of my shed roof. It works but the bike swings as I try to work on it and I long for better lighting. My shed is small and work lights always seem to be in my eyes as well as on the bike. I can set the bike stand outside when projects require better lighting. It's far from professional grade and was priced hundreds less. I'm not expecting the stand to be stellar but should suffice for the projects the average rider perform. BTW, this stand folds up into a nice compact unit for storage.That looks great. I wish I had the room for one. Before our new sofa can even get delivered, our fridge acted up. Neither ice maker worked. Yesterday, 4 hours before I was to be Master of Ceremonies at an event, I went to make smoothies with frozen fruit (we don't use ice). Fruit wasn't frozen.
Quick check showed a rapid increase in freezer temperature in that spot. Tech arrived in about an hour, charging us $137 to tell us it was the evaporator and the compressor on their last legs. $1000 and 2 weeks to get parts: in other words, we need a new fridge in a hurry.
Needless to say I did the best I could at the podium, while refrigerator shopping in the back of my head. Now the search gets serious.

That's a bummer Chief. We went through that miserable experience a year or so ago. Good luck on finding what your want and I hope it will serve you well.
My parents bought a new fridge in the mid sixties. After their children were grown they built a new home and the ten or twelve year old fridge became the beer fridge in the basement. The house was sold about a decade ago... yep, the fridge was still keeping the beers cold. It's a shame they don't make them to last anymore.

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy an LG, Samsung, or Whirlpool. I had 3 different refrigerator repair companies tell me that, we bought a new GE about 6 months ago. And don't be a cheap scate, buy the extended warranty.

About a week before our wedding, my betrothed’s fridge started acting up. It had come with the house when she bought it, so we decided to replace it. Unfortunately the opening height was from an earlier age, se we were pretty much stuck with a conventional over/under, and smaller than we would have liked. We also had to paint the wall because the sellers had repainted to sell and just painted around the fridge. We ended up buying a Kenmore, which in this case is a Whirlpool. We removed the icemaker to make the small freezer a bit more useful (like you, Chief, we never use ice). When we’d only had it a few weeks the freezer wasn’t very cold so we had a tech out, who opened the freezer and said “There’s your problem.” We asked, “What” and he explained that you can’t stuff the freezer in modern fridges. So we ate some stuff and rearranged the rest and it worked again. Then, just before the warranty expired, water started showing up on the shelves of the fridge. This time we had to empty the freezer and the tech cleared the drain in the freezer. He said it’s a weakness of this model. (It doesn’t have the drain pan in the bottom as I’d been used to.)
We’ve been a little more careful with it and in a bit less than 2 months we’ll have been married 6 years. If it dies I’ll pull the cabinet above it and then we can buy a real fridge.
At least it was cheap; as I recall it was less than $600.

Our first French Door fridge was Samsung - it was so bad that the technician, after 4 visits, wrote a 7700 code that forced Samsung to buy it back. Never again. LG got a bad rap early on for its linear compressor - but this is an LG, with all the bells and whistles, and it's lasted 10 years of heavy family use. For us, the advantages of the convenience outweigh the disadvantages... and absolutely: get the super-plus extended warranty and renew it as long as we're allowed to!

I worked in the apartment sector for many years and one of the best ones was to tell the tenant they had too much food packed in the freezer. Some just do not understand how that hampers the freezer from freezing ...
I have an Amana side by side with indoor water/ice and it is over 5 years old now, I will not talk about it and possibly jinx it !

We have an older Winix 5500-2 air purifier but while online ordering some new filters we ordered a second unit. This unit does an amazing job and is still top rated. The pros are it truly cleans the air. The cons are it's a bit noisy like a small fan and reading recent reviews it is a bit of a power consumer compared to it's competition. We like it well enough to buy a second unit thinking filters will fit both units and hope to eliminate the pollen that is driving the wife crazy.

Family is chipping in to get my friend a new RV pretty soon, Mom keeps on window shopping..
I order a bike chain cleaning kit the other day and it showed up today. The kit has a reservoir with brushes and magnets that you clamp over the bike chain. With the back wheel off the ground you pedal forwards and backwards while shifting through the gears. The brushes with the cleaner is supposed to degrease and grime the chain.
