Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Ordered online 5/14, but Verizon put it through on 5/15, finally got shipment email today around 9am.

It been sent out, and will delivered 6/2 (was told 6/4)

You can check tracking info right from fedex's website with the location code and order number. I am new to Verizon as well and that is how I checked out my info.

Yeah, I just tried that using the info provided by a couple other users and no joy. Either it hasn't processed yet or I entered the wrong numbers in. Not surprised though. Don't expect to have it shipped until 6/7. Of course I hope it's sooner.
 
I'm still trying to figure out why they only offer us 2 day free shipping but if they were in stock it's next day shipping. Why do we have to go the slower route because they can't keep them in stock? :mad:

They do offer free overnight shipping. If you order online use the code FREEOVERNT. If the store places the order for you, they have a special free overnight code to use, clearly posted for them on Infomanager.
 
I tried the Fed-ex reference number and it worked, though I never received an email from Verizon. Oh well, I'm just happy it's going to be here tomorrow or Wednesday. I live in Ontario California, and it looks like they ship out of Ontario so I think it might be tomorrow:D.

So I went into the Verizon store, the one where I ordered the phone, today and they gave me a 12 digit FedEx number. However, when I check on FedEx's website, it says the number isn't found. The representative claimed that the phone hasn't shipped yet, so how could they give me a FedEx number without it having at least been entered into FedEx's system to go out?

Same thing happened to me. I called back and asked for the fed ex number. No info available. But when I check my order number on vzw.com it states it shipped as of yesterday. So I guess the holiday is getting in the way. Ill see what it says tomorrow

Anyone with an airbill/fedex account will have a tracking number to give the recipient before fedex actually processes the package. The tracking numbers are printed far in advance. In Verizon's case, they don't use airbills, but the same principles apply. They have a fedex account, and when they setup a shipment, they get a tracking number before it even gets into fedex's hands.
 
So, I ordered 5/19 online in San Diego.
How are you guys checking fedex? I have my VZW order number but no fedex number, or shipping notification. Is it Ontario's fedex number then my order number? If so, what is Ontarios!? Please PM me if possible.
 
Had my ding for a week now and am typing this on it right now. The phone is amazing and you will not be dissapointed. The battery life is pretty bad but after charging and discharging and learning to use the phone smartly I've found I to be lasting longer. Hope you all get yours soon

I have mine charged to my account, so technically I'm not paying for it until my next billing cycle.....

I agree though...if I had to pay up front and then wait all this time, not sure I'd be cool with that...I'm bordering on not being cool with it as it is...

I was told when I placed the order that my acct would not be billed until the phone shipped. I got my bill yesterday....due 6/20---guess what is listed on my bill as due on 6/20...yup. . . the incredible. I called and gave them what for. I was told "I don't know who told you that, but as soon as a phone is ordered, it is listed on the bill. Sorry for the misinformation.":mad:
 
I was stoked when my phone showed up on my doorstep Friday afternoon. The excitement quickly died down when I discovered my phone was defective. After a trip to vzw it looks like I'll be waiting another 2-3 weeks for a replacement. Booooo!!

That sucks, people in your situation should be on the front of the list.

So, what does all that mean?



this didnt work at all for me, my location stars with a M so it would look like this?? m000000_000000000 then it says it need a zip code or something then i put it and then nothing takes me right back to that page
