Accessories Got an HTC 1500mah battery today.

wow! crazy.

yep i still cant believe how long it is lasting, i was amazed at how much battery the mobile network uses it simply crushes the battery but having it on is what makes this phone smart so after i finally kill this battery i will be leaving it on always unless i wont have access to a charger for a long time

I purchased one of the 1750mAh batteries directly from seidioonline.com and am in the process of returning it. As previous posters have mentioned its capacity is between 1350mAh and 1400mAh. I took my battery to Batteries Plus and they kept it for a few days to test it and reported simular results. I called seidio with this information and explained that if it was a defective battery then they can send a replacement. They pretty much dodged the question and neither confirm nor deny the actual capacity of the battery.

HTC does make an extended 1500mAh OEM battery for the Incredible. It's red just like the stock battery.

Has anyone tried the $5 battery with free shipping from dealextreme? DealExtreme: $5.01 3.7V 1500mAh Rechargeable Li-Ion Battery for HTC Touch Pro 2

EDIT: on a side note, has anyone else noticed if you run the 1750mAh battery till it dies and shuts itself off and then plug it into wallcharger to charge, it will say its 100% charged after ~60 minutes. Is this some kind of miracle battery? cause I use the same charger with my Touch Pro and it takes ~3 hours to charge fully.

I just bought it heck for 5 bucks what the heck

Hey guys,I got up today at 4am and its 8pm and I have 70 percent. I use the phone at work plus I went to the gym and use Pandora for 1 hr and 30 min. I bought the 1500 at amazon for 16$. I can't complain at all. I am actually getting a second one to have it just in case. Good luck folks

BTW. this its my 4th charge and yesterday that I skeep the gym it was around 80% at 3pm

size, look at the dimensions on both of those pages, the Touch battery is a little thicker....I think the Eris has a little more internal free space than the incredible, the incredible is packed full.

I got a few TP2 batteries at $5 each They are indeed a tad bit thicker. You can make the cover close, but it doesn't close without some definite extra effort. Too much effort for my taste... I'm charging one up now and the charger is singing like crazy

Can someone link me to a new battery. My battery is at 15% and this is what my usage looks like

Up time: 4hr 51min

Cell Standby 23%
Andriod System: 22%
Phone Idle: 21%
Voice Calls: 13%
Camera: 12% (only used it for 5 seconds of video)
Display: 7%
Dialer: 2%

Bluetooth is off, but GPS is on. I have the weather widget and friend stream widget going. Took it off the charger at 7am, its now 9pm with little use.

the 1500mah can be ordered at your local verizon store. tell them you want the 1500mah touch pro 2/ozone battery. they can order it, and you'll have it in two days.

Thanks, that ones better than the 1750mah?

there has been no real proof showing which is actually better. i'm not sure i believe sedios claim of 1750.

i got two 1500Mah OEM HTC batteries for a total of $45. so i got 3000mah for about the same price as the 1750mah Sedio.

now i am just waiting for my external charger to arrive so i can actually switch from one to another and always have them ready to go.

i got one of my two from Verizon. first i got a defective one on ebay for 15 bucks but ended up replacing it. in the mean time i ordered one from verizon for $30. so now i have a total of 3 batteries.

just ordered it, we'll see how it goes.

Just gone mine yesterday from igonemobile... it took 7 days to receive... charged it up last night, trying it out today...will let you know how it goes.

my stock one lasts about 15-17hrs... we'll see if this one lasts longer.

Just got my 1500 and its been great so far!
Ordered from Cell Depot, which was linked to earlier in this thread. Only $15 with FREE shipping which got from NJ to PA in 2 days! :-)

BTW - I put the battery in just before going to bed so that it could fully charge overnight with my phone turned off.

the 1500 that i got off ebay really does seem to last longer than the stock battery. moreso that i expected even

Guys,

For those that have ordered the 1500 mAh battery for $15, can you verify that the battery was BRAND NEW or was it slightly used?

Does the seller advertise the battery as BRAND NEW?

igonemobile
Cell Depot

etc...

I got the one from a link on battery boss for the tp2 oem. I believe it was new. Came in plastic bag very similar to what my battery came in with the phone. It was 15$ shipped. So far I'm happy with it.

I have the Seidio 1750 but I am really not impressed with the preformance. I just overpaid for the HTC 1500 MAH for HTCpedia. Will be here tomorrow. I will report my findings.

I have read many posts here about the various batteries. Am looking for 1500mah-prob OEM and a charger...best place to order is?

Thanks!

Cell Depot battery is brand new. I'm considering getting a spare from them.

I just got my TP2 battery in the mail today (after a long wait because the USPS messed up) from eBay.

Oddly enough, I just noticed that there are different part numbers for the RHOD160. Mine is 35H00123-08M.

I'm going to try a 7 hour charge with the phone off for the first time (except for maybe 5 mins to just to check that its charging correctly).

Also, I've noticed that those extra 200 mAh does add few extra millimeters but the case seems flexible enough to cover it without any gaps that I can see. It did take a little more time and detail to snap it in but to be honest, that could have been true with the regular battery too.

I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Edit:

BTW, I bought from nakpak (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300435643688#ht_950wt_911) but mainly cause it was cheap, supposedly close, and got a "Top-rated seller" award.
