Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Ordered june 17th, tracking said it would come the 19th and it came the 19th - yes, two days later from an authorized agent - wirefly.com

PPl who ordered from places other than VZ seem to getting their phones earlier....

I ordered on 17th June at the store and told them I was hoping to get it before the july 4th weekend. I was assured that I would not get it before mid July.
 
Yep....I would call back and talk with a different person...I panicked when you said that...so I called and mine is still set for shipping on the 25th and the very sweet young lady I talked with is going to flag my account and check it on Friday morning to see if there is a tracking number yet and will call me with it since it is being delivered to a store and I can bet they would not call me....lol...so hopefully you will get better info next time you call...

My husband called for me and was told that peoples orderes are getting pushed back because some of the pre-orderes still havent been filled. There is also the problem that the phones are being shipped straight from the manufacturer not the verizon warehouses which is why some are not recieving email notification. They stated that by the 1st they expect to be caught up with all pre-orders and early June orders and will start working on mid June orders.

Dont know if this brings comfort to anyone but it is what it is I guess.
 
Hi, Nerds. Long time listener, first time caller.

I ordered my Incredible on the evening of June 8th. After a lovely conversation with my rep, I got the price down to $158 after taxes and fees. She gave me an estimated ship date of June 29th.

I called VZW about an hour ago and was told my estimated shipping date is now July 8th.

And this, friends, displeases me.

I would still call again....this is the first anyone has heard of this!
 
And again my friends - we see just how mis-informed we all are.....the CSR's today alone have given so many answers we are all chasing our tails. (and while tail chasing can be fun - this is NOT the type I like) ;)

I had called before my husband, he didnt like what they told me. They had told me that I did not live in a "popular shipping area" and so I would have a longer wait than others who did. I have the whole conversation a few posts back. And when he called they assured him that was not the case and told him about them being shipped from the manufactures and such.

Totally crazy....I guess we will see our phones when they show up but in my case it is going to the store so I will have to keep contact with them cause I know they will not call me....waiting is not one of my strong points!
 
The friendly CSR I spoke with a couple days ago said that the reps are kept in the dark about vendor device availability and disgruntled customer concession options. probably for some internal political reasons. Dumb down the reps so that truth is not revealed, so they can cover their butts and save money.

I am SO over my LG Dare with its pathetic touch screen. I think I hear a Fedex truck engine rumble in the distance. Gotta go.
 
Been lurking this thread for too long. Not looking good that no one has gotten a notice this week. My details:

Ordered: 6/2 By Phone
Promised Ship By: 6/23

ETA: nothing yet

Uh oh, I have a feeling VZW is about to get deluged with members of this forum checking on their shipment dates. I was hoping and praying that the other person who got similar news just had the CSR misunderstand that the phone was ordered 6/1 and not today... but if you called three times...
 
Just spoke with VZW CSR, mine is still scheduled to ship on June 28th. This is my new "Replacement" HTC Incredible.

Ordered: June 7th online
Order Processed: June 7th
Expected Ship By Date: June 28th

My last one was deemed defective by VZW Tech Support for both Call Quality and Signal Quality issues. They were going to send me a refurbished one, but I said I wanted a brand new one. The downside was that I had to wait as the new ones are back-ordered.

I just hope is comes on-time. I already have the iPhone 4 coming on Thursday; just got my tracking info.:D

and now I'm HOPING that it comes next week. Or at least ships on the 28th.
 
With the Moto X being announced tomorrow and seemingly nothing shipping in the past few days this is what I have deduced...

Verizon is stopping shipments of the incredible until after the release tomorrow of the Moto X to avoid people trading in their DINCS. Many people who were expecting shipment this week are now being told 7/19 which also happens to be the anticipated release date for the Moto X and possibly Droid 2.

I am waiting to hear the tech specs on the X and will most likely be canceling my DINC ordered on 6/3 (no news on shipping)

I am paying and early termination from AT&T and must say that verizon is so far very disappointing...
 
lets all rebel on Verizon this is bull that we are getting the back bone to a new phone coming out why cant they hold off on orders for X and get the INC back into the consumer's hand's
 
Did anybody receive their phone today or receive notice that it shipped? I feel like a lot of people were receiving their phones last week and now very little.
