I agree, it would be great to be able to place widgets in the bottom bar.
this would be amazing yes

it might of been the apps because it's running perfectly fine now.
I like it the only thing I wish was a way to change the icons which I'm sure there is I just haven't fully grasped it yet. Also are there any more docks that we can download?
This phone is becoming more like my PC each and every day, now only if I could run Steam I'd throw my computer away![]()
fyi, download fancy widget if you want the HTC sense clock/weather widget on the homescreen. It is awesome.
I really, really want to change the app drawer icon. . . .
I'm not sure that I understand you're comment here . . .
When you say "change the app drawer icon", I read that you want to change the default icon for bringing up your apps from the bottom dock . . .
Forgive me if I'm misunderstanding something, but while I was adding & changing the other icons in the dock, I changed the app drawer one to a custom image just like the rest of the icons.
Is that all you're trying to do or did I miss it completely?
Gotcha, thx for the clarification, that makes sense . . .He is trying to do that but when he has in the past he gets forced closes. So, to save the annoyance, he is back to the regular icon.
Would be so cool if some one would answer my questions on page 5
How do you remove icons/widgets to your home screen when using launcher pro? I just installed it, so I'm a noob here. But when I click and drag to the bottom they do not get removed.
Thanks in advance.
Use the trash can in the bottom/middle of the screen instead of swiping them off the screen as is done with Sense.
after a day of playing with this, you will be impressed with how cool it is to not use Sense...
if you are careful where you screen tap, you should be able to get clock or weather, as long as you set up the preferences properly when you first installed it
plus, there was an update yesterday or today, that might fix that for you
Regarding the FC when changing the icon, I wasn't suggesting a conflict with an installed app. I was recommending temporarily stopping any running apps.
I don't think that an app would cause this kind of conflict merely for being installed, but the right app could definitely cause a problem if it's running.
Personally, I'd start with stopping all apps via a task manager, then follow the process I outlined above to force close all apps that can safely be closed from the background.
From there, I can't imagine why you would have an issue changing the icon unless an app you force closed auto-runs immediately . . . if that's the case & you're still experiencing an issue, you'll know the culprit.
No go dude. I hit "end all" in SystemPanel, removed all the widgets from my three home screens, and it still force closed. Nothing running in settings -> applications besides the normal system stuff.
I don't know. It's just a big sloppy failure for me.
