I created an account today on the forums and attempted to use the Live Chat (IRC chat app) and for some reason it says I'm banned from the #androidforums channel. I'm not sure why it's saying I'm banned, I'm guessing since my nick name is fairly generic someone else used enduser and got bannned how ever I also tried using enduser2941 and thats banned to. Would you be able to look into this and see if you can unban me? Thanks a bunch!

Just wanted to let you know as a Moderator and Administrator that there is an issue with Yahoomail working on HTC phones. Right now the issue is related to only HTC phones from the 25+ threads here and elsewhere I have read. It is only impacting certain accounts. I was wondering if there is a way we can consolidated all these threads and have won Yahoomail not working on HTC phones thread and where it should be located. Then how could we point everyone to that thread it would help to create more traction and also offer clarity to the issue. This is the post I have put in a few of the threads.

I have been encouraged by NightAngel79 and Xyro to toss my name into the hat for a guide position on AF. I will echo the post that I left in the incredible lounge that likely prompted their encouragement. I'm certain there are many to consider and I only offer because I care deeply about the forum. :
I've never worked on a forum... but have worked in the past in similar positions. Many years ago... pre internet days (cough cough) I moderated three conferences (much like specific forum threads) on an echoed discussion forum called ILink. I also helped to run the local university's BBS. Then, I had two and helped on two other disciplined chat rooms for years. It takes a lot of work and you manage to make an enemy or two along the way as well. It has it's rewards but it's much much more than just a status symbol when you are trying to make a desirable atmosphere for the majority. I don't envy the ones in charge here.. but I sure admire them and enjoy their efforts.
