    Help with app's persistent notification

    I've noticed that I can't get rid of the phandroid icon in my notifications unless I force close the app. Also, the phandroid app continues to run and does not close when you back out, again, unless you force close. Any suggestions other than uninstalling the app and accessing via the web?
