Speaking of which, @olbriar PLEASE let me know if you have access to the key to an old American Scale Manufacturing company penny scale.
Sorry Chief... I'm not a source. I do have a collection of odd keys I collected as a youth that I'll give a look tomorrow. It would be a near crime to breach that lock by destroying it. I'd be more inclined to find someone to pick the lock. It's likely a pretty simple lock designed to keep the honest honest.

Thanks... yeah, I'll have to try some old luggage keys and hope I don't have to pick it. If I DO unlock it, I fear I won't be able to lock it up again :p

I have a tire on one of my mowers that refuses to stay aired up. It's not the tire that's leaking. The wheel is so old that a tire bead can't make a good seal. Instead of buying new wheels and tires, I purchased tubes for my tires and had one mounted in the tire that leaks badly today.

Hot fudge sundae with chocolate ice cream (soft serve because that's the only way), whipped cream, cherry. No nuts because blech. Yup.

The last vacuum I bought back in 2013? Miele vacuum, price $600.( got $50 off because it was a floor model and a two year warranty covering all parts, motor and repairs) . We have took it once a year to be service. The life expectancy is around twenty years, with proper care and service the life expectancy can be stretched to 30.

Within the first few years we were married, we bought a Hoover assisted movement upright vacuum. I purchased the exact same unit a decade or so later at an estate sale for parts. I never needed to parts and gave it to my cousin a few years later. We used our vacuum until a decade or so ago when we pulled up all of the carpet and refinished the original oak flooring. I gave that vacuum to my youngest daughter and somewhere in her many migrations it was left behind. Though it became extremely difficult to find sweeper bags for the unit. It gave great service for over forty years.

I had new tires mounted on my mow trailer today. The replaced tires were the original tires to the trailer. I have no idea how many miles were on those twelve year old tires but they owed me nothing. They were overdue to be replaced when I noticed they were so worn out. I feel lucky that they never had a flat or let me down.

I just ordered a digital clock to replace the one that spectrum opted to leave off of the new cable box.

Been there and done that for the DirecTV boxes. The one for the main box is an atomic clock because we want accurate time. The other is a cheap WallyWorld clock that should be corrected daily. What's the point of showing the wrong time?

I received my Amazon order of four more 33.5oz jugs of unflavored Electrolyte Solution today. I can't stand the artificially flavored and sweetened solutions.
I don't like any sweet drink and the fake fruit taste is very nasty. Unflavored has a bit of salt taste about it.

Tablet going back ! It was advertised as new and came with the previous owners content on it. Not only that it has a glitch when booting up, I am sure that is why the original owner gave it back.

Will go back to looking for a replacement.

With all your health issues why are you drinking Mountain Dew and Coke, but hey you do you. I'm not your mother.
No I mean for the future, and I do not like typing it up over and over, besides they are for my friends to be honest.

Because it is how I learn to slow down a lot of time..
It is not like I knocked at your house and say "Hey now stop having s#x.."
