Baseball 2025

The Royals have won 7 and lost 16 so far in the month of June. It's more than a fan can take.

Hey @Bearsyzf, I saw a Padres cap along side of the road that I daily cycle. I spotted it middle of the week and Friday it had been mowed and only pieces were to be seen. When I rode by the shreds I said to myself "damn shame that wasn't a Royals cap"

you guys looked good today. too bad Ohtani has not been fully unleashed just yet. he had 2 good innings.

The game was just starting when I left to go riding. I got back in time to see the top of the 9th. I didn't think I would miss much by not watching. It's a whole lot of talent playing against meh.
Ohtani is a very gifted player! You saw, in my opinion, our best pitcher today. The Royals offense struggles to get going more often than not. They have jerked the roster around and lost what little chemistry they had last year. As a fan, my feelings are hurt that we aren't competitive this year. I should be accustomed to stinking but I've never been one that takes losing lightly.

We are half way though the month of August and the Royals are trying to become relevant. They have won eight of their last ten games and are now tied for second place in the American League Central.
They are nine games out of first in the Central with the Tigers showing both the Guardians and the Royals how it's done. I still watch and root for the Royals... it is a bad habit I've had most all of my adult life. l just don't go out of my way to watch them. I know they will disappoint me in the end.
