It got knocked on the floor and the battery fell out. Upon reboot it had uninstalled every app including all...
Well..
Having run with my note 2 for 3 years, rooted with TWRP and stock 4.1.2 , a few days ago had an issue with "unfortunately google play services has stopped". I could not find a way to fix this so:
I installed Resurrection Remix 5.5.9
A great rom based on cyanogen 12.1 which runs...
In France and just updated my wife's Z3compact from 5.0.2 to 5.1.1 OTA with no issues. No differences that I have noticed yet but I believe its now immune to Stagefright.
Hi all
Just now installing 5.1.1 OTA on my Nexus 7 2012 - will report back on improvements (hopefully!)
EDIT After an hour of browsing with chrome-no lags or lockups! So far So good!
Been using it on and off all day and still good. Certainly 5.1.1 is a big improvement on 5.1 This is...

Since we cannot hold a 2 way discussion in this forum without you registering (which is free) and you really have not given us much to go on (not even type of phone, old ROM etc.) I can only suggest that you register on the forums and post a fully detailed question in the "all...
Hi
I couldn't find a phone to do this (outside India). I would get 2 android phones and put the same gmail account on both. Your contacts and gmails (emails if you synced them to the gmail account) would be on both.

Hi
If thats the best option in the pre installed alarm app, you probably cant change it. Suggest you install another alarm app which does what you want. There are lots on the playstore and I'm sure some will let you set the length of alarm. See here...

If this does not work, consider importing your old email account to your gmail account (using a pc to set this up) and using the gmail app.
I was not...
Hi

Hi
The playstore account is associated with a gmail address, not the other way round, so the address can't be changed..
I would:
On the new phone create a new non silly gmail address (primary account on the device).
Then add your existing "silly" account to the phone. Your apps and contacts...

This article is quite interesting:
MAC spoofing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
If you have noticed nothing else odd, there is probably nothing to worry about. Install and run an anti malware such as CM Security from playstore if you are worried.

I have read lots of info (mostly on this forum) on rooting my Desire and I am now getting very tired of having to remove apps because of lack of space. I am planning to root and flash Redux 1.2 to solve this problem. I know there are possibly better solutions involving repartitioning the...

If the phone is set on low brightness (using the "power" widget which came with the phone) and goes off or is turned off. When turned on with the power button on top, the backlight is...
