Well guys, it's been real. Finally throwin in the towel with the Esteem. Had a nice run but decided to jump on the L9.. Its pretty nice step up from the Esteem and has a pretty much functional CM11 on it (although I've yet to install it on account of the locked boot loader)..

Let me tell you this was an adventure. Hopefully it saves someone a day of there life if ever in the same predicament. Found this out over on XDA (forget the exact post) In my case, I flashed CWM without first unlocking the bootloader, only to come to the Security Error screen on reboot...

Ok, I had a dumb ass attack.. Rooted with Impactor, then installed cwm without unlocking the bootloader first.. Now I just get the Security Error.. The offline flash crashes in lg update tool.. Have tried everything I could find around xda to no luck.. anyone know of a fix? Fixed it...

Never tethered the esteem, or any phone for that matter. Should have an extra one next week as the digitizer is going bad on this one but keeping it around wifi only.. Is it possible to tether my new one with service to the old one for things like Netflix and that while not around wifi? Any...

I'm on #2 1.6 ROM currently and sometimes when its charging the keyboard goes completely crazy.. I'll try to Swype for instance the word 'the' and I'll get 10 characters including q's and letters on the other side of the board.. Also does it with lg keyboard so I know it is not just Swype...

Not sure if I'm just over looking something but is there a way to narrow the search results within tapatalk? For instance whenever I search it shows every post with the key word on AF and there is no way to limit it to a thread or the esteem groups..

Ok so the battery stats are acting screwy.. was at 60%.. rebooted at 60ISH after updating Prl (no 4g) .. It dropped to 19%.. Its been slowly crawling back up within the hour.. Up to 22 now.. Only reason I ask is phone has been screwy all day.. Anyone seen this? Had it for about 6 months...

can anyone recommend a messing app better then the Yahoo messenger app? It seems to be losing messages lately.. Use it for work so can't really test em out and lose more messages :banghead:

At least for me.. It completely kills the entire status bar (time, signal, etc) only trieda few fonts.. flashing broken out again with no wipes fixed it for me.. Don't know if its been covered any where else just giving a heads up
