17 year old banned from the U.S.

Why must the inferiority complex of Obama be a consequence of a child that is voicing his opinoin?

This is not fair by a long shot here!
 
I think the president gives up some privacy rights when he takes that role..

My question is.. How the hell did he get the presidents email

Yes i have.... but what you say is not the point... the kid will change his mind one day when he realizes the consequences of what has happened here... the world now knows who he is...and what a "terrible thing" he has done...

And it's the principle of the matter... he shud be free to voice his opinion...
 
I'm critical towards the handling of this case. Which is it not only me alone, most papers in Norway is very critical about this decision as well - seeing there is popping up quite many satirical drawings about US gov't and of course this case.

I do tend to agree with Joe Dirt's comment, even if Obama have someone mended some of the views we European have of the American politics. This clearly shows he can't take criticism.

I'm gonna be honest and say I'm not fan of what Bush did and it's very natural to think he was even less liked in Europe, since he pretty much managed to make US one of the most unpopular countries when it comes to European views, so I'm guessing he had even more hate mails and mails like that, but he still didn't ban that person from entering US.

Thus why I'm bit critical about the reactions on this matter. Since I have nothing against Obama and praise him for making us from Europe having a bit better view on US in general. Though there is sometimes some funky decisions coming across the pond that makes me scratch my head! :p

I think most of you need to read the article again and not blaming Obama for the kid being banned. First off he NEVER got the email so he never read it. Secondly, It was the british police that told the kid he was banned. A statement never came from the FBI saying he was. It's funny how some people jump at any chance to bash others without knowing the full story.
 
People, (especially those from outside the US) Obama did not personally ban this guy from entering the US and it is not about him "not taking criticism". That action is performed by either the Secret Service, FBI or Homeland Security and coordinated with the police in his home country!

I understand other countries not liking the politics of another, I get it! But as Munnarg has pointed out, a lot of you are arriving at conclusions based on emotion and little to no fact!

And hopefully this "justified" bann will be lifted when (and i say when not if) a new government takes over in the USA...

At least i won't be visiting the USA anytime soon.

Ok, don't. No one has a RIGHT to enter our country. People are turned away for less than this.
 
...And yet there are millions of people in the U.S. that break federal law by coming here illegally and Obama just wants to let that go? Hmmm. I guess I"ll just never understand.

I meant that when the government changes and all these crazy policies go i will consider about going there. I did not mean to never go there ever... There are millions of USA people that have done wonders for mankind... i would love to see all their museums some day. :)

But yes you are right...some people have been punished for things that are far more pathetic than voicing their opiinoin... it's actually very sad.

Obama should not be President. He is not even a US citizen. Anyone who claims he is must be brainwashed, dumber than dirt or getting a kickback.

By trying to be politically correct and to show the world that America is soooo sensitive and hip the US elected a man who could very well destroy this country! I am not happy with a lot of things that pass for being okay in this country.

I feel we live under the illusion of freedom when in actuality this country has been drifting towards socialism for a long time. Before all of the Red Necks out there tell me to go to another country if I don't like it here let me drop a little knowledge on you.
