2.1 released in UK?

Yoyoyo i need to go out in 3 minutes, what network you on????

I am tmobile, but that doesn't matter, as it is uk generic (ie not customised) that is available now.

Not sure about the UK operator specific ones.

OMG! OMG! OMG!

Quick question - because I like quick questions.
I have an unbranded X10i and I'm over to the UK (and Norway, incidentally) later this month - will I be offered/able to download 2.1 while I'm there (assuming SA doesn't get it in the interim)?

I'll be using a UK PAYG SIM.

yep...just done mine on generic

glad i never flashed last night!!

Got 2.1 Today On UK Generic, Im with Virgin Mobile but sim free phone,
The phone didnt prompt me, but PC Companion did when i plugged in.
Updated to Firmware 2.1
Build - 2.0.A.0.504
So far it seems Fine.
Update was Straight Forward.

Got 2.1 but not with PC Companion as that said my phone was up to date but with sony Update Service, updated staight away, Phone was debranded on Virgin.

updated at 12ish....and still customising it

least its rooted now and i see no moxier stuff

Well happy with 2.1 so far....

Just updated my girlfriends x10 and apart from her moaning because I didn't backup her apps the phone seems to be a lot more responsive and she is now happy with all the new apps and live wallpapers. Hers is an unbranded handset from phones4u on o2.

Ben

O2 here, didn`t get the notification but used updater and it did the job.

Seems ok, few new features to get used to :)

Unfortunately not as it goes off the firmware branding of the HOME network, not which country or sim you use in it

So without an unbranding, you will have to wait till your home network offers the update
