It would have been good if Google had taken the opportunity to add an HID bluetooth stack, or to better integrate the Gmail app to the system communications options.

Hi,
I have some trouble to update my HTC desire from 2.09.405.8 to 2.10.405.2 !
I have my goldcard on my phone, go to Setting, About the phone, then check software update.
He found a new update, i download it.
Then he ask me to install the update, i press OK, the phone reboot.
Then a menu show up with by default, FASTBOOT.
I press power button to switch to HBOOT, something show up for 1 sec, like no image found or something. I select recovery and it's go back to the fastboot menu.
I try to download the update, put as update.zip on sdcard, but it's the same problem.
Can someone help me ?
Sorry for my poor english
Regards,
Nomis
Hi Eddie,
Thanks for that post - I assume it was intended for me - even though I deleted by post and replaced it with a "."
I deleted post 'cos I found the old RUU Link - and I did indeed update with that stock Froyo ROM you refer to.
So, you're saying that even though I did an OTA update with goldcard NOT in phone this morning, I should be able to rectify the situation by simply reinstalling it manually?
I hope this is the case. Please confirm.
Thanks mate!
Brad
If you debranded to FroYo then you'd have been on 2.09.405.8.
Download this:
http://fotadl.htc.com/OTA_Bravo_HTC_EU_2.10.405.2-2.09.405.8_releaseol2djq7rqarka2ka.zip
and rename it update.zip (not update.zip.zip) and copy it to the root of your gold card. Turn the Desire off.
Now, hold volume down and press power to get into HBOOT. Select 'Recovery' and once at the red ! hold volume up and press power. Select 'apply SD:update.zip' and follow the instructions.
You should now be working
