I have yet to get the update yet, but I have a few questions...

I did the one click root using visonary and I'm still on .15
should I have any problems getting the OTA?
or do I need to unroot?
 
I'm in FL got it flawlessly (unrooted) and to my surprise my corp email is sync perfectly.I have the touchdown app due to moto corp email sync issue and now i'm not using it at all,looks like Moto decided to step up and fix the active synch bug.
 
Hmmm...no update here either(system updates just tells me I am up to date), but I am running 2.3.9 apparently...all I've done is OTA updates and I rooted my phone manually after FROYO install. Did I miss an OTA update somewhere? Why is my system version still 2.3.9.MB810?
 
got it early this morning. had to get it using wi-fi since 3g network was down.
seems to have fixed my issue with video player hanging.

NJ. Stock phone with LP but that shouldn't do anything. Phone's up to date, but still 2.3.151. I'm really getting tired of this crap
 
i'm in North Alabama, i haven't even checked. Patience people Patience.....i usually like to wait and see what everyone is saying about the update before i pull the trigger.
 
WTF I just read this on motorola's website:

"
  • Some users obtained an advanced copy of a Froyo SW upgrade that placed them on SW version 2.3.9. This version of SW cannot be upgraded over the air to 2.3.15.
    • To have your handset upgraded to the final version of DROID X SW upgrade 2.3.15, please contact your local verizon retail store for a walk-in visit to upgrade your handset."
 
Before update : My phone was hang one time, and need to remove the battery. But I never experience reboot before.
After Update : one for 3 hour, my phone un-expected reboot 2 times. And nothing new i felt from this update, my phone not faster than before, only new game Madden which i don't play.

Strange.. My thought is maybe new system is prepare to reboot instead of hang. But I like the way my phone before update. Becos its rarely hang, whenever i feel lag, i use taskmanager to release memory, but i hate it reboot itself before i gotta chance to save my game while playing PSX.

I was hoping the update fixed the camcorder to be able to shoot autofocus, sadly it don't. Anyone know is there anyway to shoot it continuous autofocus like samsung or other HD phone do? :(:(:(

How did people get that update 2.3.9?
 
Still 2.3.15 here.

Can't pull anything new. Perhaps Verizon pulled it back due to either a last minute bug, or because of thier service interruption earlier.
 
Doesnt verizon roll these updates out based on esn numbers? Perhaps that is why some have it, abd others do not. I'm still on 2.3.15.
