2.3.340 Update Coming

Mine says 2.3.9, and I'm rooted, and did an OTA upgrade when it became available, and as far as I know I've not had any further updates.
 
When I select system update I get a message saying, "Check for update was not available at this time. Try again later." I've never seen this before. Any ideas?

EDIT: It stopped doing it. Weird. Waiting for the update :)
 
For you people saying no update yet, are you trying to pull the update by going into menu->settings->about phone->system updates?

The update was there for me earlier, but it failed to install. Since then, I've cleared the cache in recovery mode and some other things, but now it tells me if my system is up to date.

I'm just wondering if anyone else can't pull the update manually still. Also, if you can't pull the update, what version are you currently running? I'm on pervious OTA 2.3.15 rooted.
 
Lex, I'm pretty much in the exact same boat. Tried to update, failed, flashed SBF, now being told I'm up to date when I'm still on 2.3.15.

I just went into about phone, system updates, and it said checking. "Your device is up to date! No update is necessary at this time."


Completely stock phone. 2.3.15

It hasnt told me that any update is there. it's been saying the same thing for awhile
 
I did the froyo update and only rooted...never did anything after rooting and I am on 2.3.9?? says I am up to date in the System Updates menu.

Well, which one of us wants to clear data (factory reset) and see if the update is there after that.

I volunteer you :)

I do have a Titanium backup, so it wouldn't be the worst thing to do so, but I'd really rather not. Titanium restoring apps is good, restoring system data, that's a crapshoot sometimes. I'd really rather not have to rebuild my home screens, ringers, BT, wifi, etc. if I don't have to.

I'm in the same boat, I did it this morning and it failed (apparently because I removed all the SHIT bloatware they load this phone up with) SBF'd just now and boom no more ability to pull the update. TELL ME SOMEONE SAVED THE DAMN FILE!? :D
 
I tried the update twice but was missing some bloatware. Would the update file still be on my phone and where would the file save too?
 
I'm rooted and hoping renameing the apks back to *.apk from *.bak will work. Still no update for me yet though :-/
 
Hmm im also on 2.3.15 and when I go to about phone and check it says deviceto uptodate. Im located in ocean county new jersey if that helps.
