2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter that works?

I ordered two adapters from ebay, and used my regular 3.5 head phones, and they worked fine, with one of them, and only played in one ear with the other. I think it depends on the adapter.

" What ebay seller did you get the one that works from?"

If you look at the the plug on the stock headphones and compare it to the plugs of other 2.5mm headphones you will notice that the spacing of the insulators is not the same, there is about a 1/2-1mm difference. I think this is why that anything with 3 separators will not work properly. The pins in the jack aren't properly lining up.

Its a shame, I love my Jabra C120s but for me to use them I have to use a 2.5-3.5 adapter and a 3.5-2.5 adapter, 2 adapters and then I lose the ability to make calls with them as the Mic no longer works.

Maybe I can do some modding and replace the buds with some others so I can then use the Mic and get some better sound out of them.

Wish I had a camera with a good Macro so I could post a pic of the different jacks, perhaps someone out there with a good camera could post one for me.
