So after I do the reset the final time, fully deplete the battery that one time? I don't see the logic behind that.

After you Get to 100 % Fully Deplete the battery before your charge it up again

So the phone Can get the full battery logs from 100% to 0%

Thanks, I'll give it a shot. My phone dropped to 87% pretty fast, then was at 82% two and a half hours later with some pretty constant Pandora streaming.

Factory reset won't format my SD card will it? I have my nudie gf pics on there, lol
 
Beast, the life span seems wonderful. Now tell us your impressions of the aesthetics. How does it look and feel? Too big or heavy? Awkward? Just right?
 
One beast I just wanna confirm that the battery you are calibrating IS the Chinese battery? Just curious because we were talking about the Seidio as well. Do you have both Seidio and Chinese batteries? I haven't received my Chinese batteries, but I'm really excited to see how well the Chinese do compared to the Seidio.
 
i have the chinese battery and the aesthetics are fine. theres a sharp rise running from the bottom of the phone to the top along the left and right, at which point it more or less flattens across the back. From left to right along the top and bottom is a smooth contour the whole way. When it sits on a flat surface and you look down on it, it looks like its floating :)

The back will touch more of your fingers and palm together with the added weight makes it sit firmly in your hand, feels solid.

Can someone calibrate different batteries to the phone? I thought the calibration was for the phone to a specific battery. For example If I calibrate to the 3000 then it wouldnt work well with the 3500? Or are you just calibrating the battery itself and not the phone? This probably doesn't even make sense what I'm saying
 
Loving this chinese better. From fresh install to downloading all my old apps and wallpapers, making a 20 minute phone call, sending 30 text messages, all on WIFI and GPS enabled and ebuddy doing facebook/gtalk chatting I'm at 79% with an uptime of 2:48 minutes. Keep in mind I did a complete data wipe and got everything back the way it was.
 
LOL! im lovin this! 6 hrs full throttle on a overclocked phone! i couldnt get 5 hrs stanby the first day i got my phone :}
 
I have $12 extra. goin for it. bought it. now I just gotta wait a couple weeks. Still haven't gotten my Damn rebate check that'll just be two things for in the mail.
 
I'm currently sourcing these evo 4 batteries in shenzen, and they say that the 5000mah android batteries are a fake. They get 2700 or 3000mah batteries and put 5000 on the stickers.

From what I understand, 3500mah is the highest it'll go without it having to be lugged around like a back pack. $12 is a reasonable price from an ebay seller, but there is always a chance that they arent what they say they are.

I'll have more information and new prices for real 3500mah batteries.

Made it 7 Hours straight Full Throttle at 1113mhz with KingxKernel #6 and Fresh ROM 3.1

This was the last screenshot i captured before it died...Lasted about 2 minutes after this

Gonna Flash KingxKernel #7 now and test that tomorrow with real world settings (GPS & 4G off)

With a 1.2ghz overclock

Safe to say for 12 bucks and it being the battery's FIRST charge...7 hours of non stop use is impressive

Makes perfect sense and your right...The whole purpose of this is for the phone to get used to the Storage capacity of the battery...Just like the battery logs of the 1500mah doesnt let the 3000mah fully charge....The battery logs of a 3000mah battery wont let a 3500mah charge fully...Your calibrating your phone around the current battery your using
 
yep yep. my point was no matter if you choose to use the seidio 3500 or the chinese 3000, you would need to do the calibration for each of them if you decided you didn't want to use the external charger (i admit the getting the backdoor thing on and off every 3 days can be annoying!).

***fingers crossed*** I hope mine work that well.
 
This sucks, did the reset a few times and the battery still drops to like 90% after a few minutes, lasts forever but that's so annoying

Yeah....This helps with fully charging the battery... dont think it helps with the quick discharge from 100 to 90 people r experiencing..


and i use Better Cut to edit my icons its a app on market
 
I ordered the chinese battery and got mine in one week flat. My downfall has been charging thru the phone. I'm going to do the wall charger and see how much more I can get. So far I have not been disappointed...for $23 i got two chargers, two back covers, and an external charger. I need to tweek a few things as well to get some of this amazing battery life that Beast was getting on full blast...that's nuts.
 
Ok people 4 Hours UNplugged Real world test,,,74 Percent

Now with a 1228mhz overclock and still about a Hour n a half worth of Pandora Streaming....

Once again my OEM Battery would be dead by Now and im on 74 Percent and have a Higher overclock which is draining more battery......The way the battery is trickling down im certain it wont die today unless i use it from now all the way til about 8 clock tonight non stop......Which will be hard to do lol.....


This battery is also a beast.....How Ironic:D
