I can understand that. Im sure you dont need it up the few minutes of video recording you would be doing, phone will still vibrate.

Hey fuzz can u make a flashable stock camera apk I tried this earlier I get one recording before it crashes gotta restart everytime to get it to work
 
UPDATE!! it only works if you keep the sound off if u turn it up it won't work so if ur takin a hd video remember to take the sound off. when u playback the video the sound is there don't ask me how but it is
 
Let me get this straight... the cameraMod worked the whole time - but only with the volume turned down to vibrate???
No modifications were done to it?... It worked all along?

No. It was modded. Its just that something in the mod only allows the camera to work on vibrate.

I mean looking at it now,it makes complete sense why it worked for some and not others. Its always the easiest and dumbest thing.
 
Haha.. thanks.. who could have guessed it was such a stupid thing as the volume button after all the head bashing that was done over it.. glad it works now..
 
Update... upon further inspection of my videos, MX Player says my old videos are 7.66fps (I thought they were 15fps), and now, with the camera mod working, it says they are 30fps.
The difference between the two are absolutely night and day.

BIG hats off to all that beat their head against the wall trying to figure this one out!

FPS is frames per second. It's exactly what it means. The camera records MORE frames thus making the video "smoother" looking. Was 15fps and now its 30fps. Double. ;)

Dude, I never would've guessed this. Before... I tried flashing, pushing, replacing... it never worked... never did I ever think hmmmm... let's put the phone on vibe and try that lol geez.. regardless, Idk who found this, but mad props to them. Now, whoever it was: put your phone down and go outside lol

Yeah what he said lol... I honestly can't tell a difference yet... I need to run a test in better lighting. However, I pulled up the video in after effects and it did verify 30 fps.
