Mostly outdoor stuff so it doesn't give us a good sense of the camera's low light capability, but it is something to take a look at. Decent detail though for better or worse, the saturation is kept down.

in the picasa album, click on one of the first several images that come up, on the right youll see a link for full details page.. click it. youll see pg86100 (EVO 3D, right?) As you go further through the same album, you will find that some of the photos are shot with the Nexus S 4G.

EDIT: in picasa, you can also put "pg86100" in the search bar and find other albums shot by this device (supposedly).

Yeah that's what I figured out too, pg86100 was the model number that was leaked early on when the 3vo was still being referred to as the HTC Shooter. I think.

Yup -- that exactly.
 
Unlike the original leaked photo we saw (the one of someone's desktop), these are not photoshopped at all. I'm looking at these photos at 1:1, which you can do by clicking the "download" tab. It gives you the image in the dimensions as specified in the metadata on the right nav (or the same place where you saw the PG86100 label).

Looks like these photos were taken at 3.6MP instead of the full 5MP. This would also give the impression that the quality of the photos are higher, since there is less magnification of the defects.

Quality-wise, they look to be on-par with the Evo4G's camera; outdoor shots are nice. Good color, good contrast and saturation.

Indoor pictures, like the very first two in the album are not as good, but appear better than Evo4G. It appears that all the photos were taken at fixed ISO: 32. But the camera is not reporting shutter speed and aperture, so there's no good way to gauge how much light there was at the time of the shot. My guess is the light is predominantly fluorescent with some ambient sunlight from windows. First shot of the pina colada shows evidence of hand shake... Second one suffers from poor focal point; otherwise it would have been a decent shot with some noise.

Blue Ridge Mountains.... I love driving on I-81 through these mountains when going from Boston to Atlanta. The sunsets are amazing. I guess this gal wasn't around for that...

in regards to MB use, she could have an old firmware'd device and/or could not have the resolution up to max..

im sure someone will point her to this thread so gents watch what you say about her.. ;-)

EVO 3D Pre Order

Look at the bottom fine print. It says " Trade-in offer good 6/24 - 7/31/2011"

If the trade in offer starts on 6/24 its almost 99% that the Evo 3d will release on the 24th.

So - while our outreach may be out of the blue, it's within her job function because we're in need of a 3vo product ambassador here. Her information, should she be able to offer any, is going to be rock-solid.

And I'm sure she'll be cheerful to join us because she's probably noticed that any mistreatment of outsiders here, including any suggestive remarks whatsoever, nets the offender an immediate mod-provided vacation from our forums - one of the reasons that this is Android's oldest, largest and best user group forum.

Probably she should get her own thread, with all attendant respect due her.

Agree with you guys, it would be sweet if she showed up and made some posts. definitely worthy of her own thread... sounds like shes got some great intel!

Also, I noticed that Sprint dropped the price of the EVO 4G online today. Retailers were selling it for 150 around town, but today is the first Ive seen it at 150 online. Clearing inventory.. EVO 3D soon?
 
Does the RS ad today actually say June 24th or just preorder your EVO today? I called RS and BB and they say there is no release date yet. BB said early July late June. I need to know cause I am going to rebuy an EVO today and return it within 30 days. But BB has the EVO right now for 99 bucks and there is no restocking fee he said I can get the EVO and if I change my mind in a few weeks I can return everything and they can undo my contract and reverse my upgrade. But Sprint just gave me a 100 bucks last week to resign. So I don't want that to get messed up.
