4.2.2 is here for boost k2_cl

well the rom is updated, thank you @ModdingMyMind for the directions contained within this thread. So first things first i will grab the cricket source code and start making a boost kernel. once i have a working kernel source then i will get to work on making a custom stock based rom with some flava lol

Once i have the rom where i would like it to be for initial release then i will work on getting sources and a repo up for CM10-11 and the kernel source.

If you're s-off, how do you restore root if you run the RUU and OTA? It's been so long since I updated to JB but I seem to remember just installing the Superuser zip through CWM.

I had to flash the TWRP to recovery before I could boot it. Once I was able to boot TWRP, it offered to install root when I rebooted.

After it booted normally, I launched SuperSU, let it update, picked the TWRP option, the phone rebooted, flashed the update, then rebooted again & I had root again with the OTA 4.2.2 update.

Your mileage may vary...

AF really needs to add "@mentions" on here.... Lol

Got the poweroff charging problem fixed - sort of. It's working, but a little wonky lol.

I ran the RUU, OTA and tried to boot into TWRP - the version from the website. It sent OK but didn't reboot.

I tried flashing TWRP and it sent OK but when I try to boot recovery I'm stuck and see "Entering recovery...". I've tried pulling the battery several times and still stuck with the same.

The version from the website won't work with the 4.2.2 update.

Hey guys, in regards to TWRP freezing up on you while in offmode and charging the device.... I have fixed the problem. HTC took this idea from Samsung apparently and it was brought to my attention over on XDA. None the less, the information passed to me helped me see what needed to be done. I haven't uploaded it yet. As for booting it with fastboot, I'm currently at a lost with it. My assumption is with the new bootloader we got giving this problem.

Edit: personally, booting it isn't a big necessity anyways since the stock recovery can be grabbed from the OTA and flashed if ever needed to be.

Pet peeve of 4.2.2 #1... They removed the quick toggle in the pull down drawer for Beats. Beats on sounds like crap with my headphones, but I like it on when I play music through m my car radio.

Also, no toggle for GPS on/off in the pull down drawer.

Any way to fix these?

In the mean time, I've resorted to the excellent Power Toggles app from play store. I highly recommend it...

I noticed the GPS immediately. I either use the power strip widget or the Power Toggles app. It always ran flawlessly before.

i haven't had an issue getting into TWRP recovery from the new bootloader. i can select recovery from the bootloader menu and it boots right in like before.

The problem is the command
fastboot boot recovery.img isn't working. It isn't really an issue, but it worked previously.

I'm currently syncing CM11 to my computer. Will take some time since it is a hefty package. Gonna work on TWRP from source then hit up Dees_Troy with a pull request to get it officially supported in regards to our recent 4.2.2 update.

If shinru beats me to it then kudos lol. It will allow me to make a personalized version with screenshot functionality and more. :-)
