Root 4G comes on after reboot

Then turn it off
try wiping dalvik cache and cache and see if that helps. usually any glitches like that gets fixed by wiping them.

I thought I read a couple weeks ago that this can be an issue from time to time on Sense roms, but I don't think I've ever had it happen before.

i don't know about that. i was a sense guy until quite recently. but in my time on sense i had no issues with my 4g turning on randomly like that. try wiping and see if that corrects it. maybe make a nandroid and flash another rom and see if the same thing occurs.

if I recall correctly it is mostly 3.29 and 3.30 based sense roms that have this issue...mostly occuring at reboot...4g automatically comes on

when using a widget to toggle 4g it can cause the same thing. I was pretty sure it was fixed (visually at least) in 3.70 however logcat showed it still running in the background.
the best fix... use an aosp rom that doesn't have 4g

i guess that explains it as i have not been on 3.29 or 3.30 roms in sooooo long. but even then i did not have that issue.

remove any 4g widgets you have. Then go into the settings and disable 4g that way. Then on reboot, it should not come on.
