Is it just me or does the evolution have terrible reception for 4g and wifi? I literally have to be right next to the router and it might be 2 bars if its a good router.
Haven't had that problem yet but do you think wiping cache and dalvik will help?

Don't you think I've done that about 2000 times since.rooting? And yes I have done it recently. Everywhere I go I get terrible reception for wifi, 3g cuts out for hours at a time and 4g doesn't exist for me. I've been at Shari's and connected just fine with my 3ds/psp

not sure to what suggestion you are asking to. if it is the kernel then just wipe dalvik cache and cache and flash the kernel. if it is something else then i have no idea how to do that
Nandroid backup your current rom, then flash a sense rom such as MikG3.11.
There is an option in MikG under "about phone" to update profile and prl.
Once done, while on Mikg, see if you can connect any better to wifi/4g.
If so, backup MikG, then wipe and nand back to your current rom.
