I got mine ordered for 50% off at a corporate store this morning ($26 after tax). They didn't have them in stock but are shipping it to me with free 2-day shipping (will probably arrive on Monday).

is the extended battery on the website? i haven't been able to find it, and i forgot to ask at the store when i picked up the phone (and they didn't offer it to me)...

Well the stock battery cover will go on over the extended battery so I would have to guess that it sould fit without any problems.

Where are you all getting the 50% from? I would like to get it for as cheap as I can. My VZW rep told me his store doesn't have them but has ordered them, so I may just order from the website.
My store (zip 08648) has a table full of nexus accessories. I picked up the "Spare Battery Charging Kit", which contains a battery charging case, a standard battery, and a Y-cable so that you can charge your phone and the extra battery at the same time. It doesn't include a charger/USB cable so you'd still need to use the ones come with the phone. It's $39.99 but I got 25% corporate discount.
IMHO, this is more useful than the extended battery. Think about it, how are you going to charge that extra battery? As long as you have 2 batteries, it should be enough to last you the whole day. Now I start to worry how long will the battery door last

No its at a corp store.
Yes it came with the cover and yes the standard cover will go on over the extended battery. Its a bit tight but it does go on.

It works just fine, I'm sitting here holding my phone with the extended battery and the standard cover over it.

The extended battery I got from VZW does work under the cover that came with the phone AND there is no hump AND the cover that came with the extended battery is identical to the phone cover.
After VZW and company discount, I paid 17 bucks for the extended battery. No brainer.

They told me they couldn't stack a corporate discount (25% for me) on top of the already 50% off in store. How did you accomplish this?
