I had also bought the spare battery kit the door on the charger will not close with the extended battery but it charges it just fine . But honestly I'll be returning it and getting a cheap Hong Kong charger this one is kind of a joke IMO

Cool. Was thinking I'd just add a small piece of sticky rubber to the face of the battery to make up the difference, but sounds like it won't be necessary. Gracias!

exact same situation for me... It gives an error message when I try to bring up the order status... I never received a shipping email either... no idea what's going on
 
Does anyone know if the Verizon store will honor the web price if we didn't get the 50% off? I wonder if it's even worth the hassle. I see on the website there's no longer 20% off if you buy 3 items, which is what I did. I bought the extended battery, the Otterbox Defender and a 1 meter usb cable. It came out to be $96 before tax[$101 with tax], online all the 3 items without the 20% off is $95....
 
Will the extended battery still make my phone fit in my high gloss silicone case?

Also will it still fit in the holster kickstand belt case?
 
I just called verizon to inquire about my order... they say the item is out of stock so it won't ship... whenever it does come back in stock they will ship it out...

so you got an email with order# when you ordered it, but when you check online it just says "error, page not found", right?
i called vzw tonight & they couldn't find my order but then said their internet orders dept was closed so would have to call back tomorrow.

i swear i'm going to go apesh#& on them if the 25$ off deal is removed tomorrow.

but ya...i'm getting that error page when checking order status too. i hope that's all it is tho "being out of stock". would've been nice to receive an email telling me so first.

anyone else can confirm this happened to them but found out it was cause of out of stock issues?

yes that is exactly my situation.. please let me know what you find out.

they don't seem to place much value in the order # ... apparently they can't look it up that way. i told her it was an accessory and apparently they can look it up that way under your account....

really wish i knew what was going on cause it still gives me that error page

Ok. I just talked to @vzwsupport via DM on twitter, and he had to check with internet sales, who keep those order #s. They gave me my shipping#, and it's going to arrive tomorrow! :D

I guess they don't notify you upon shipping. So if you're getting error message, I'd wait another day or two before calling.

Another question though...

Are their bigger batteries than this that will work? All they would need is to do make a bigger back cover right? Why doesn't someone just make a 3000ma battery with a bigger back cover? I would not mind the extra thickness at all. I guess though that's where you would get into the cases with the built in battery.


It's kinda wierd after 4yrs of iPhones to be able to swap out the battery :)

I'm sure some after-market company like Seido or Otter or w/e will make a bigger battery with a larger covering.

Mine did. I mentioned that there is a 50% discount online, once adding to the car, and they provided me with the same discount, in-store, after he checked.

Saved myself shipping time.

Give it some time there will be larger batteries coming out . I couldn't even imagine not being able to pull the battery . For the past 2+ years I've always just charged an extra battery when my battery dies or gets low I take it out and pop in a new one . I rarely plug my phone into a charger , I just prefer to swap batteries and use an external battery charger.. However the one I bought from Verizon is lame , I can't wait for a cheap Chinese one to come out, those work amazing

I know people say it's not necessary but I always seem to get good battery life on my phones by doing this .. I always fully charge the battery (off if you can) then drain it to below 10% then fully charge it again I do this for the first week and I always seem to get good battery life even on LTE devices .

I wasn't able to check my order status online, but my order showed up today anyway.
 
New here. I bought three Nexus's or Nexi that I am picking up tomorrow. One for me, my wife, & my son. Thanks to the original poster for this thread. I purchased three of these batteries at the reduced price earlier today.
 
I stopped at a local corporate store today and bought the extended battery. I told the rep that it was 50% off online and he matched that. I also got a "blowout" deal for 7 wall chargers for the price of one (24.99). The battery was in stock (last one) but the chargers had to be ordered.

Seems kinda ridiculous for 7 chargers but can definitely make use for them.

Also, I got 16.5 hours with 3:15 hours of screen time (48% of power) and 2 hours of phone calls. Can't wait to see how much better the extended battery is going to be.
